I saw a club that had a face that fired the charge upon hitting the ball. It was a couple of decades ago but I thought it was a good idea IF it didn't make a loud bang when you hit the ball.

Can we just admire how amazing that swingless club is. I bet there are some handicapped players out there that it has changed their lives as it relates to golf.
My granddaddy suffered a stroke and lost all use of his left arm and couldn’t swing a golf club anymore. If he were still around I’d do whatever it took to get him that club and go on the golf course just one more time with him.
I've seen that club reviewed before and that is exactly what it is designed for.

I think the 'red pecker' rule might have been in effect on the 18th.
The Red Pecker Rule: If the golfer hits a ball from the back tee box and it doesn't go past the front tee box then the golfer must play the rest of the hole with his pecker sticking out.

I use a stand-up putter--the original Bloodline. I've used it for several years now. It really helps with alignment, but the swing weight is really high.
Lesson learned: You can cheat as much as you want ... if you can’t putt it won’t help 😂

Absolutely my favorite golf themed channel to watch. U actually have personality & do funny stuff that I'd do if given the opportunity. I was rooting for u to use the straight shot swingless club on 18 so u could give the sandpaper wedge a rip or two into the green😅 Good stuff!

A friend of mine built a golfclub - a putter that made the board change the rule definition when it comes to the shaft. He welded 2 shafts together at the top and let one of the shafts fit the toe of the putter and the other at the heal. This gave him excellent control.

Haha love the sandpaper wedge. I remember as a kid getting my dad to use a dremel to cut lines all over an old wedge to see how it performed. Exactly like that one. A titleist tour balata would be dead in a fraction of a second. Spin machine though
That swing less club is so cool, especially for people like my grandfather who have tendinitis and can’t swing! What an awesome idea, it gets them out on the course having fun!

@@DavidMossMGS I think the idea is if you're too old/weak to play a full swing you can use this for tee shots and just play your short game. Still seems fun to me. Could also help a disabled person.

That 750cc driver sounds just like the old rubber dodge balls when you really pelted somebody good with one.
I don’t imagine you read ALL of the comments on your videos but in case you read this, thank you for fixing my slice! Your 4 part series really nailed it for me. Transferring weight to the right foot and swinging through at 7o’clock! I played 18 today and one of my drives was pushed right. Everything else was really good!

Those full shots with the sandpaper iron had me in tears! You can do that amount of spin on GTA Online golf I never thought i'd see it in real life. Top shelf
The sand paper wedge reminds me of the Ping Eye 2 sand wedge with the Spalding Tour Edition ball of the mid 80's. It would leave 4 groove marks on the ball and suck back off the green fairly often!
Forget illegal clubs, I need a hedge trimmer to play my ball most if the time !

I really like how often you mention fixing your divots in your videos. Nothing pisses me off more than people who rip around the course on their carts and leave a mess. I actually saw a guy the other day rip his cart over a boggy sprinkler head and spin his tires. It ripped a good 2x1 chunk out. Couldn’t believe it. Didn’t even bother to attempt a fix either. It is truly crazy to me that people cant take 2 seconds to get their chunk of grass and put it back. My buddy damn near had a heart attack when he forgot and i fixed his divot for him. He was so embarrassed.

To make the hammer work right, you have to put a better shaft in it, I like TT dynamic. A guy compared shafts, and all replacement shafts worked better than that stupid shaft they put in the hammer. Change to a shaft that can take some loading, like dynamic or TT dynamic, and you will find the head works quite well.
Who dislikes these videos. Honestly. I love the vids Rick keep it up!! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥it would be fun to see you play a couple holes with left handed clubs, hitting right handed. (Club head upside down)

This is probably one of the humorous funny video Rick had done. That shooting club he used reminds me of clay disc shooting, and the putter that stands made me laugh, then didn't stand on the wind condition.

He actually mentioned it on a video a while back. I think he very rarely actually goes out and plays a round of 18 anymore. I'm sure that by the nature of his profession he has to keep up to date with new equipment and what not, but it seems so strange to care about "what's in the bag" or even just maintain your game without ACTUALLY playing 18 routinely.
I genuinely lol’d when he hit the sandpaper wedge thin and overshot the green on 18 and it still zipped back.

I have the wedge with the black face. Had it for years. Great tool for times you need the ball to stop but it scuffs up the ball really good when you use it.
That 50 incher driver had a similarity to the Risky clubs in Mario Golf. 😂
Some of these clubs are absolutely hilarious. Next time I play a round I'm going to show up with a leaf blower, a spatula, and some sandpaper. 'Rick Shiels used these clubs in his last video'

A buddy of mine used to own a wedge that was 64 degrees and we called it "The Spatula" lol. Swing out of your boots and you could maybe hit 55yds.

Hey Rick, could you review pinemeadows clubs? I wanted a cheaper hybrid option and bought 2 from them and they seem okay for 35 bucks.

@Rick Shiels Golf that was a ton of fun, I look forward to round two. Do you still have any of those original Pro V-1's? I remembered that you were supposed to line up the seam to your direction on T shots to get max benefit. You could give that a try.
I LOVE this concept for a video. You had to earn this set by doing a bunch of gimmicky club tests haha. So cool to see the different clubs used in different situations, and experience the nostalgia for the old vids.

Gary Pinder You could train for a technique where the sandpaper wedge cuts the ball to create straight flying dimple patters on regular balls.
For the wedge itself just take a silver sharpie and draw the face of a legal driver on it
