  • Hey guys,
In this video I go over an easy but very useful upgrade for the XT250 and any enduro style or dual sport bike. The tusk fender bag comes in at under $20 and is a great way to keep a spare tube and tools on your bike. You will have to notch your fender in order to get the bag to keep from slipping off, but it acts as a great way to utilize space on your bike that you wouldn't typically use.

I am a young old-timer (60'ish) with a fear of street riding. Your videos are helping me get over that.. The well thought out protective gear that you use, but mostly the positive attitude that your convey. "Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou".

Ken, thank you so much for saying this! Honestly, there are plenty of things to be afraid of when riding a motorcycle, let alone riding on the streets.
You just have to remember that you can only control the things you can control. You can go out with a level head and pay attention as I do when I ride on the street, But there is always a chance there's something or someone that you'll cross paths with that you can't control. Although you can't do anything about it, you CAN do something about how you react.
As you know, with a lifetime under your belt, people make mistakes. You make mistakes. Other people make mistakes that might happen to involve you! Just try to put yourself in the best situation you possibly can when riding and react as life happens.
Don't let the fear of riding keep you from the joys of riding!!!!

How much will it block my light for night riding? I have a 2004 ttr 250 which does not have great lighting as it is.

I've rode with and without the bag and you only loose about 5 feet of viewing light. I think it's worth it for the added utility.
