We had a winter storm warning with blizzard like conditions like you did ! The temps were cold but now its cloudy with high in the 40s all week and the weekend ! Hope you and your family are doing well ! Been watching you for 5 years or going on 5 years ! I started in 2019 but I think it was in the spring or summer !
Wow, the snow is beautiful. We don't get much snow here in Texas, usually just sleet/ice if it does anything at all. I hope y'all are staying safe and warm, and hope you're feeling better, Christi.

we got at least 9 in from that system then a few days later got at least another inch or so. plus the bitter cold. on the bright side it's almost spring

I was thinking of you this weekend, as you often share recipes. Have you ever heard of slow cooker cooked breakfast? Its amazing, but I guess with the number of people in your family, you would need two slow cookers.
At bedtime, stand up sausages like soldiers and bacon rolled up round the inside edge of the pot. In seperate mugs put beans, mushrooms ( with a dash of butter) in the middle. If you have room you can add a mug of beaten eggs and some hash browns. The first time I did it I oiled the slow cooker sides like they said. It was nice but the second time I put a knob of butter in the base and the food browned better. Cook on low overnight, but you could have it for dinner too. How much you can get in the slow cooker depends on the number of people. In our case all I had to do was cook the eggs separately in the morning but as everyone likes different types, ie fried, poached etc it wasnt a problem. Also everyones food stayed warm in the slow cooker until I was ready to serve.
Honestly worth a try. Please stay safe and watch your nasty cough. Have you tried inhaling Thyme oil. An elderly Welsh nurse told us about it. She said Thyme was a natural antibiotic, antiseptic and opens the airways. She said that's what her mother used before antibiotics were discovered.

The snow looks so beautiful, but can fill up your driveway quickly. Ivan came home on Saturday afternoon, and he had the same surgery on the same day as King Charles. He is doing good so far. Did your doctor test you for strep A, as is going around right now? I hope your feeling better. We don't have any snow, but it's been mild, and raining on, and off. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️🤗.

U go from Tornados to Blizzards...cant catch a break can ya...? Lol iam most definitely am scared of Tornados and would take the snow every day all day 365days a year over thunderstorms/ Tornadoes 🌪! !! Bless u all
