I had a 1989 mark VI that I got in 2009 for free from an old gentleman that my husband met while volunteering for church handing out food to the infirm. It was good for...6 months? Then it caught fire under the hood lol. It was nuts
classic. COZI-TV plays all the classic tv shows. Adam 12, The A team, Dragnet and more. It would be even better if they played the old commercials like these.👍
I know. My grandparents on my mom's side used to work for Amway back in the late 80's until the mid 2000s when my late grandfather's health started to decline. I definitely have memories of going to their house and seeing boxes of Nutralite vitamins, Nine to Five coffee (a brand that doesn't exist anymore), chips (again Amway stopped selling this product) and Artistry cosmetics (my grandmother used this for a long time and the very few times my mom did wear make up I believe it was this brand as well. Heck when I was old enough, I even carried a tubed of light pink Artistry lipstick in my purse.) I still remember how much my Dad used to cringe whenever me and my siblings did do to door fundraisers for school or scouts. I guess it reminded him of the Multi Level Marketing world he had to put up with while he and Mom were married and yet to this day, I sit back and shake my head because his current wife (His third wife to be exact. Mom was his first) has been known to dabble in the Multi Level Marketing stuff as well (She's done Mary Kay, Pampered Chef and now Scentsy)
That image of overlapping entangled phone receiver cord was really unsettling, its like, almost a traumatic memory those things were so frustrating, shame on you Bell
Ah the days when athletes promoted sugary sodas! Never realized til this moment, how ironic that was. Yes, now they promote energy drinks that give kids heart attacks...but junky sugary soda was a bit ironic
cartoongameshowman I think this is mixed tape (ha, an '80s mixtape!). 1982 cars being introduced would be a 1981 thing, But you are right, "The A-Team" ran from 1983 till 87.
i like how the 70s morphed into the 80s until 85 then the standard style framework template was set that we still see today. (without all the overt masonic evil spewing over everything)
This is so true! There seemed to have been a radical change in the ad industry around 85 and onward. Then around 89-90, you begin to see the modern, in your face style of ads that the 90's was known for. Good eye!
Mike Parcheezy Yes, the early 80s ads are like 1976+. but there was a huge change from 1976-77. The 7up ads are the best example. We, in the early 70s got the "hippie" Uncola vibe, then 74-77 we got the psychedelic "See the Light" arc, Now (in this series) we see a more traditional American series of ads.(Athletes,kids.) Points up how frustrating it must have been for the ad men of 1970s. "Do we go after the '60s generation (by the 70s adults with real buying power.) by being '60s hip? or do we go after what's next? (Gen X-ers) By 1980, it calmed down, and ads focused again on a broad market. After cable reached saturation (1986 or so...) advertising became again fragmented. It still is.
There's something to that. I forgot where I read this but basically from 80-about 81 there were a few commercials that were run repeatedly before the broadcasters could all be ready to run ads with the newer production standards. I wish I could find the source.
At 12:32. To 13:01 They Had A Lot Of Commercials With Women Talking Showers And Showing Some Parts Of Their Bodies Nude Back When Women Had Bodies Now They Don't Have A Lot Of Those Commercials Because Women Are Obese Or Overweight😑
There's always been women who are stick thin and women who are curvier, since the beginning of time. You act as though ALL women are obese or overweight now days. That's no more true now as it was then.
Yesterday's commercials are better than today's shows !
Ah when Kit Kat bars were wrapped in foil. They tasted so much better and were crispier than what we have now 😣
Things change, not always for the better. I also remember Hershey bars were wrapped in foil with an outer sleeve.
So were the Hershey’s miniatures.
Drinking 7Up in my Mercury. Life is good.
The 80’s.....when a guy with a 7-UP cart magically appeared on your street along with Magic Johnson.
That was a guy? It was so androgynous looking.
@@ZefTillDeath8878 it was a girl, Ann Meyers.

The scariest thing: 9.9% apr being advertised as a GOOD deal! Man I'm glad I spent the late 70s-early 80's totaly zonked off of my gourd!
Buddy, is that you?😂
14:16 the great George Coe on the Sharp voice-over.
7:01 Marilyn Michaels and Rich Little for 7UP.
classic. COZI-TV plays all the classic tv shows. Adam 12, The A team, Dragnet and more. It would be even better if they played the old commercials like these.👍
Did MeTV turn into Cozi? I remember me about...3 years ago.

So Many Memories From When I Was 10😁
At 10:55, Intellivision was a pretty unique game system. My friend had one.
11:52 "The plane boss! The plane!" No wait, that's a car. 🤣
Taking out a home equity loan to down pay on another home...
Hahhahaahahahhaahahah
_raises communicator_
KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNN
... that was a nice car commercial Ric!
Holy smokes! Grandma was palming that basketball!
Took me the second ad to realize it was Bob Hope
This is from 1983. The James Garner ad had the date in it.
Thanks for the memories !
Holy shit the Amway ad. I can't believe people are still peddling that garbage to this day, seeing an old ad for it truly sent me

The dish detergent and the laundry detergent was pretty good...not all of it's garbage..
Video title seems off by a couple years, it even says 1983 at 10:32
WHY DOES IT FEEEL GOOOOD?!?!
It's a real shame there aren't more 7-Up commercials in this.
Mrs. Costanza selling plastic wrap! Bob Hope shilling for Amway? And even with 3 billion ear-worm commercials 7 Up eventually faded into obscurity.
Dude Amway is an mlm
They are.
That image of overlapping entangled phone receiver cord was really unsettling,
its like, almost a traumatic memory those things were so frustrating, shame on you Bell
"Nothing like going topless"
I don't think 7-UP ran an ad campaign quite like that again.
Ah the days when athletes promoted sugary sodas! Never realized til this moment, how ironic that was. Yes, now they promote energy drinks that give kids heart attacks...but junky sugary soda was a bit ironic
LeBron James would like a word
This doesn't look like 1981 to me, it's 1983, I can tell cause the A-Team aired in 83.

Bob Hope being the devil shilling for Amway. Yikes.
Too many 7Up commercials
I was starting to Feel 7-UP
George Brett is a legend, i cant believe how small he was compared to... well, steroids...
@13:56 Does this music remind anyone else of Thomas The Tank Engine?
.....so was "Magic" Jonhnson a magician who later picked up basketball? Those 7up commercials really got me wondering. LOL.
Sure he's a magician! Thanks to his magician's "aids" his balls started disappearing for real!!!
7up
There is a 1982 commercial in this video
14:17 Taaaaaaakkkkeeeeee Ooooonnnnnn Meeeeeeeeeeeee
Love it, remember Rain....neer..beer....
The A-TEAM started in '83.😕
I loved the A-Team, 10,000 rounds fired per episode but no one ever gets hit!
I don't want to feel like a 7...
Amway lol.

I always noticed that shift. But I'd say if you look very closely, the shift slowly began happening in 1984.
"Overt Masonic evil"? Lol!
More ads from 1981.
Good.
dewy soft
It's 1983
Oh look its Khan, he lost to Kirk now hes stuck in car commercials. RIP Ricardo Maltoban 😭

No, women are WOMEN with realistic curves. Nothing wrong with being 180. 200 is...ok too just need to work on it...but not every woman is a stick.
