Thanks buddy
Thank you
great job gunner on changing the oil, and sweeping up the shop.thats how you first learn keep the shop clean, watching dad fix equipment, ask questions.nice job dp and mbts
Enjoyable series/project to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching
She's a beaut. The 120 is the machine I learned to run an excavator on too. Took a heavy equipment course with 7 other guys (and 5 other machines) and those memories will last the rest of my life. Almost shed a tear watching it leave the shop too, lol.
120 looks great u should be proud of yourself by doing the work on the machine you saved a lot of money
Thanks
Awesome job keeping the old school machine in top shape... Great catch on the oil leak..!!! It pays to keep maintenance up on it because it makes money when it works and cost money when it breaks down in the middle of a job and it never fails it's at the worst time....
Glad to see it finally done and ready to rumble !! Good job guys 👍🇬🇧 !.
Thanks
Great to see Macy & Gunner learning how to do an oil charge on the go kart great video :)
I think we all have one piece of kit that is our favourite, from your John Deere 120, to something simple like a vice that belonged to a great uncle, I have just spent 3 days bringing back to life. He use it in his workshop now I can use it in mine. Like you say Aaron is a good guy who knows his stuff. Nice to see you were encouraging child labour, Gunner with the broom and his sister with the camera.
Glad to see the old girl back in service! Great content Mike 👍👍
Thanks Ron
Awesome job, can't wait to see it in action again.
Thanks buddy appreciate the comments
I always get a laugh and a smile when I watch your videos. I have enjoyed watching you fix the old girl up and hear that motor purr like it does. No clanking when you move all the parts which is very impressive. Great job guys! Can't wait to see her in action.
Thanks appreciate that
Nothing better than self satisfaction great catch on the leak and also fantastic money saving imagine a shop price for that work. I love a good project
Finally !!!!! Great to see the old girl out and she has a lot more in her that's for sure. You need another one of those lights on the back !! Be like daylight all around you at night. Great job done on her and yes a big thanks to all that put time in making the ol girl new again. Excellent job done ***** can't Waite to see her rippin dirt again.
Great work on her, team. I look forward to seeing her back in actiion now ! I have really enjoyed watching you work on her, the banter has been brilliant. I loved seeing Gunner sweeping up !
Good job! You made a helicopter mechanic proud. Hope the machine runs long and makes you a ton of money
Thanks buddy
Good video again I always like shop videos Y’all 2 work good together good good mechanic work I am glad you got the excavator together it’s about time to put it on the job I am happy for you be safe in this crazy world
I`ve said it before ,I`ll say again , good watch.I used to work in a shop, there`s no more satisfying feeling than seeing a long, painstaking project leave the workshop 110% better than when it went in, and that one did.
I agree
Congratulations sir. I can barely tell how happy you were. I really didn't know if I was gonna live long enough to see this project completed. That was a marathon but, the boys came through for ya. Good job everyone.
Lol thanks buddy
This has been a great series. Fun to watch you all work and laugh while tackling this beast.

Well it finally lives to see another year of work. Hope it serves you well DP. Lot of blood sweat and tears sitting there. Make a man proud.
Thanks buddy
That was the best series that you have had on the channel.
Not taking any thing away from all the other ones.
Great work Mike 👌.
Thanks Barry
Your kids are very helpful! Good to see a next gen. getting involved.
Can't wait to see the ol girl digging dirt!! Congratulations on getting her freshened up. She'll make you proud and be as reliable as ever. Great video and look forward to the first job with the 120
Thanks
What a crew, talented hard workers and Great friends. Thanks for sharing! Kevin

Loved seeing Gunner sweeping the floor. Always good to teach them hard work and life skills. Good job and good dad.
Thanks
you certainly had a great experienced team working on the 140 !!
Great machine. Great work and great friends 👏🏻
Loved this ! Thank you for sharing
This is awesome and something to be proud of. And for the record, despite what some are saying on here, I’ve never seen a door, a seat, or gallons of paint move dirt or pay the bills. Excited to get back in this girl and move some material.
Captain Kleeman hey now what about that recliner you always talk about at work... I think that makes you money doesn’t it?
JasonWorksAlot valid point 😂
lol
it,s great to see her ready to work again !! now for some new decals lol......great work to all of you !
You guys are the "captains of DIY". Well Done!!!!!
Thanks
Huge thanks guys for a brilliant video. Epic drumroll not cheesy at all.
Thanks Jim
besides having this machine done and ready to work I bet you are also glad to have that work space back in your workshop. 7 months is a long time having to work around a sitting machine.
Yes on both
Great video I think the dialogue between you and the man behind the scenes is a welcome addition being that I do the same things you do on a daily basis hauling equipment, and excavation it’s a nice break up in the filming keep up the good work.
Thanks appreciate that
Have the same Milwaukee set and love it. Great job on getting machine done. Don’t worry about paint. PAINT DON’T MAKE MONEY. Ready to see that first scoop
Thanks and exactly
DP, had a construction friend die crawling under a piece of hydrolic equipment without bracing. Seeing you under the skid loader forks set my teeth on edge. Stay safe!
Well done guys, she up n running look forward to seeing her in action 👍
Thanks
Nice job its amazing how 1 little job expands so much well done
Thanks
I have the exact same excavator. A lot of your videos have helped me perform so much maintenance myself.
Good deal awesome

Thanks for the GREAT SERIES . Being meticulous with the oil leak ..... it really paid off in dividends to find you avoided CATASTROPHIC EVENTS in the timing cover, 🧨💰🔧🎥📽
Thanks
Wow that is a beautiful view from your house and I wasn't just talking about the machine you showed a view down the hill for a bit and man that's pretty I just subscribed today love the vids man I live in Petersburg Indiana so we are kinda neighbors lol God bless you and your family
Thanks
Very good job but just as I was typing this i was going to say it's a pity the seat wasn't recovered 😕.
Looking good and a lot of effort from all who helped 👍 best of luck with it
Heck of a project, she needed all the attention she got. Noticed that Gunner is learning well, he was bored and grabbed a broom and swept the floor. Jason, Captain, MBTS and you all did a lot of work and none of it looked easy. Looking forward to the first job the 120 does.
nice work mike nice to see your kept the old deere
March 24.Y'all have come a long way. Thanks for sharing.

I've been looking forward to this day almost as much as the kids. Lol. Seriously though, I'm happy the 120 is done, and I can't wait to see it get muddy. Y'all have a blessed and safe weekend. Stay healthy.

Great job mike and all involved with making the 120 great again. Some things you just don’t get rid of. Ray from Oregon
Thanks ray
Great to see it finally finished. Great series.
Thanks
Awesome. Fix.
I think the paint looks fine. New seat would be next on my list. If I had a list.
Great video Mr Dirt Perfect and Aaron
I've really enjoyed these videos, you two always have a laugh, it puts a smile on my face, ty
Thanks appreciate that
Great job by all, you did scare me near the end though. I thought you were going to send it back to work with that yard of dirt still in the cab. Gonna take you awhile to get used to running it without all that slop in the boom though. Enjoyed the Series!
Awesome guys and we can't wait to see her working again thumbs up my friends
Thanks buddy
Also a big like from me but have to agree that decals and paint need to be done thats a must. COME ON MIKE and I also agree a bit less random filming would be nice used to cover a lot more stuff. Just saying still supporting and no hard feelings
Ohh... that was great!! Thank you for letting us be a part of the makeover! Just one item left, would you put a little oil on the door?🤨
Thanks jim
Good one Mike, love your variety in the videos.
Thanks
Time too make money. Good thing Aaron was there to loosen that counterweight bolt. LOL.
I hate that pump were the fuel filters go on John Deers. aggravates me every time on our 5205, Glad you caught those lose bolts. Glad to she's back in the game.
You guys are pretty good at finding new parts .
I've watched many video of the 120 being fixed and I must say it did need some work but you've did a great job on her.
Thanks 👍
A contractor would go broke if he (or she) couldn't make some of the repairs themselves (with a lot of help from some talented friends). Great Job!!1
I agree and thanks
Awesome work you guys!
Thanks
You guys work well together. Awesome video
Thanks
I see Macy was wearing the right t-shirt at the start with the title Mini Boss written on it. Great series Mike and thanks to all the worker that made this happen.
lol thanks Barry and appreciate all the comments
The only bit you have missed it putting a bit of paint on the counter weight Good job on the machine I am pleased for you 😜
Thanks
Great job repairing it
Great job guys
Looking good! Now just time to get that "new cushy for the tushy" and renew the safety stickers and even Officer Hoover would be pleased...lol.
Great series of really interesting videos just shows what's possible with a group of talented people willing to give it a go. Love to know what it cost and also what it would have cost for a dealer to have done the work!!
I am sure double what I got in it
7 months! That's like giving birth. :) Glad to see the 120 is back up and running.
Thanks
Congratulations!!!!
Awesome job to all involved mike it was a great series to watch can’t wait to see its first scoop thanks for the video mike 👍👍👍
Thanks
Good to see your Baby back together. Take care and have a blessed weekend
Thanks
I seem to recall the John Deere 544E we had having socket head cap screws and tie wire on the injection pump cover.
I've only seen 2 machines with that added counterweight and yours is one of them. I'm guessing that the factory probably added them to machines with a longer stick? Probably easier to do that than design a whole new counterweight. I'm also a huge fan of Lucas products. Congratulations Mike on getting her finished up!
Mike, if you epoxy a small magnet on the oil plug, it will tell you the volume of 'metal' between oil change... JD weld works well! Clean plug and magnet with ether... G
The shop gave birth! Funny how a wood building conceived a metal machine! Mystery of the world. Did you have to stitch it up after?
You all did a great job!
Thanks
Great job! You got a great crew. Especially those kids. That gunner what a kid saw him grab that broom and clean up! 👏 was he asked to or on his own? He is a good kid. Awspme job dad.
Thanks
Very cool guys ! Great videos
Thanks
Being a new subscriber to your channel throughly enjoyed the video thank you 🇬🇧
Thanks And welcome to the channel
Great camera job Macy
I am very happy to see it back in the field doing what it is supposed to do.... Now clean up the shop cause its only days till something else cries its my turn in the "Infirmary" and of course just when your a happy ahead, its back to bologna sandwiches cause the parts bills just never stop. Pick a color that you like for a company color and paint all the equipment the same or do a mural that points out the business and how to catch you on which phone. I could live in that shop... mechanics always spend most of the time in the field getting stuff out of trouble so shop time means a lot and great times between you and Aron
A little oil leak could have been a big deal! Great catch.
Yes and thanks
@@DirtPerfect Great SNAG on the oil leak fix. Pay me a little now or pay me a lot of $$$ later.
Lock tight was my first thought when you showed that the bolts backed off. I also think anti seize compound would be a good idea for the secondary counterweight...
Great video Mike and MBTS enjoyed watching 🇺🇲
Thanks 👍
