Very dramatic intro! I have two of these machines that I am about to swap out the electronics on - SKR Mini E3v3, new TFT35 Display and Meanwell 24v power supply. Quiet fans for the control box and a Bondtech DDX/Slice Mosquito hot end. Like you, I love the print volume but I want it to be a reliable beast for printing big stuff. I'm watching how you do this very closely! As far as the upgrades - they are worth the investment (to me). The Elegoo machines you mention have issues. They come with wimpy heaters and small nozzles, so getting those things to print big will also require some upgrading. Large scale printers, out of the box, ready to go, are very pricey. Upgrading a Creality isn't the worst thing since there are so many upgrade options out there. Mine have AC beds and Wham Bam surfaces...the glass is gone. I also invested in enclosures for mine and that's a huge help for printing (when you control the environment).

Bro, are you on Reddit, where I can follow you upgrade journey? I am just about to set the silicon heat bed and do some other upgrades

Hi Joseph! I'm planning on running a similar setup so far I have CR-10 S4 and a CR-10 S5 with:
Big Tree Tech SKR Mini E3 V3.0, Big Tree Tech TFT35-E3 V3.0, Bondtech DDX, Slice Engineering Mosquito Magnum, AntcLabs BL Touch, Gulfcoast Robotics HEX EPCOS, and a MAXGLEE 12V 70W
I cant wait to see the updates to this series. I really want to get my setup to run on Klipper, with a Big Tree Tech Pad 7

Bruh, your the biggest drama queen on YT! I have a CR10-S5 the entire Y-Axis does not weigh anywhere near 30 LBS, the bed does not take 45 minutes to get to 60, Glass build plates are used because glass is always level! It just isn't that difficult ROFL! They do prints slow without Klipper and even with Klipper by todays standards but that is it's only downside! Funny video though! You can use the entire bed with Marlin though you just need to learn to bed level or install an ABL! I bought the EZZBL kit for mine from TH3d back in 2018 right after buying the printer and it has served me well!
