I need more tips for when both parties stick only to the front foot. My instructors always yell at us to NEVER use our back leg because it's slower and the opponent can see it. But I have trouble knowing when to attack, they always go for my head or fake me out with a fake kick to the chest.

I would suggest to go through our videos, there is a lot you can do, and it is a lot to cover in one video. So watching multiple ones could help you.
