how to successfully block in taekwando
Keep you arms up and try and dodge attacks. Put one arm by ur chest and one arm further away from ur body to block. Also stay in a side position as a stance so itâs harder for them to kick u

I'm a father of an 8-year old boy. I watch your videos so can I teach my son the techniques.
He gained a lot of confidence since we practiced the techniques you've taught in your other videos. He can now do tornado kicks which he is very proud. He did it once and landed it perfectly on his opponent's body.
If I may, may I request that you make a video on blocking? He usually gets kicked on the head or face, and body after he attacks.
That`s amazing to hear. Thank you! Check this one out czcams.com/video/che_aSKIaUI/video.html
You are great... learning a lot from this channel. wondering if you could do an episode on techniques for someone short to score. I'm 52, so shorter than average and most of the headshots like crescent and axe kick assume you are tall enough .

You make great videos. I always look forward to your uploads.
Thank you, I appreciate that
Me too.
Your tips are good đđ
Yâall in the world taekwondo federation style for point sparring they donât allow intentional kicks to the back, so what Iâm saying is that scissor kick or double jump kick he does the 2nd part of that kick, kicks that back which isnât allowed if itâs intentional like that seems to be
The spine is illegal zone, you can kick next to it (on the back muscles).

This goes on the assumption that everyone can kick that high and have that flexibility!
As a rkd black belt, i gotta say.... the sport really needs to modernize our sport and learn how to throw proper punches. Luckily I cross trained in Muay Thai... but by and large, the lack of knowledge on the punches is why not many TKD practitioners ever go to MMA
How to successfully time kicks in sparring
Sir, at combo 2 we kick opponent's back. Is it count ( points ) ?
also thank you for this detailed video!
I think it counts kardeĆ.
You will have to make sure you kick the back edge not the mid back and it counts
@@W1Taekwondo i get it, thank you so much!
@@gokberkteberI suppose he has a point if it hits the edge of the Side rather than the mid back it should be fine, however if u mistakenly hit the mid back thatâs a foul and too many of those could lead to point deduction so just keep that in mind
Sir, my height is 5.4 feet and i play fin weight in every fight, my opponents are taller than me. How can I improve myself? From Karachi, Pakistan

So a Cut kick is a side kick,
Roundhouse is a turning kick đ
i wanna spar agianst the kid
yo i wanna against the other dude
i wanna spar i mean
I'm sorry but no combo with a head kick is for beginners. People are not flexible enough to do that by default.
