That’s so awesome! I’ve always said Candlebox is an extremely underrated band that got unjustly shit on by far too many in the grunge era.

Seen them in concert 4 times. First time was when this album debuted. Last was 2 years ago and the energy you speak of is still there. GREAT live band.

These are amizing folks, I saw them live in Fl around 10 yrs ago, they floored Ant alien farm,Floored Papa Rouch ,the vocals,live, insane . The passion in his voice combined,been too many live shows in life. Tool is the one i have bot but hope to see one day. Getting old at 46. Reaaly love these reaction videos so pos,I grewp up on earlt 90's rap r n b n hip hop. Much harder mentallity then. Loosrly i got into other geners of music and learned soo much appprection for any genere of music and that pple will be able to realte to most any as no one has had an easy life unless you want to try to compare yours to anothers. I did not care for other generes of music other than rap and hip hop even as a younf white boy,Def learned difff as music will be anything you can relate too. Much is writtten & appreciated from being able to relate. Keep it up bro...check out some Tool, STP,Pearm JAM,Eddie Vedder and many more. You will get lots of great revieiws trust. I am noone but a aging white boy my freind. Nice too see the expanding minds
Grew up in Washington State, Candlebox and Pearl Jam have to be the most nostalgic bands that I still listen to all the time.

Candlebox is awesome live. Energy all the time. Kevin is great to listen to. He talks about the history of the old songs nowadays during concerts. It's great. I can't wait to see them in a few months.
They have many many good ones spread throughout all their albums, but 'Miss You' is one of my favorites cause it's about his dad who was in WWII.

Love this album, for me the most under-rated 90's album........ Thanks for doing the reaction, whole album is great. Has some of the best drums and guitar transitions in all their songs. My favorite song on this album is Rain.

I have lived in Seattle for the last 40 years, and I am always surprised when people say they have never heard of this band. We here had a front row seat to some of the most amazing music in the 90s. I remember when I first heard Candlebox, I was blown away. Check out (Simple Lessons) and (Change) you won't be disappointed.
This whole CD rocks front to back. Love the drumming in this one!!

Great song. The other 2 that hit off their first album are Change and Cover Me. Personally I like the songs Don't You and Blossom better. Don't You is a texturally rich song, there is a lot going on. Candlebox uniquely puts Kevin's voice even with the instruments in the mix on their songs. Sometimes the guitar is ahead of his voice almost drowning him out making him have to really push his voice out to be heard. It is interesting and he can absolutely find the power to compete for his space in the sound.
Check them out live, Kevin is as animated and passionate while singing as what you hear in his voice.

You - Live at The Moore Theater in Seattle (@1993-1994) czcams.com/video/vdRvzqSHrbE/video.html I was worried at first because the camera was showed footage where he wasn't singing, but I think that is just the way the video was cut, because this is not the same as the album and at the end is quite obviously live.
If you want to hear them later on then I recommend Breathe Me In (2008) it is a little more subdued and bluesy until the end when they remind you they are a rock band.
Blossom is pure magical genius. Best song of theirs hands down.
