Phil just has one of the cleanest voices I've ever heard.
It's the cleanest, best pleasure.
One of a kind. His voice is out of this world. I grew up listening to Genesis and him.
I AGREE
Fascinating band, they built on the Who's concept albums and Arthur Brown's theatrical shows.
Does anyone else remember how great this song was on Miami Vice? It so captured the mood. Phil is amazing!
Phil = Legend ❤️
Here are the missing drums for those of us preparing to “air-drum”😉
🥁 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
Yesssss 🙌😎 ...has to be one of the most (if not *THE* most) iconic drum fills of all time.
Phil is the greatest voice ever. Clean and crisp. I love this man!
I want a movie about Phil Collins.
Love it when a singer sounds exactly like on the albums they sing. No post production wizardry needed for Phil’s voice!
There was definitely a lot of reverb in this.
No autotune here! 👏🏻
What a great voice
His voice live is exactly the same on the record. Wow.. and he does it effortlessly.🌞
Phil just Horsing around sounds amazing!!
Classic... legendary
My favorite is still when it was played during an episode of Miami Vice
🕺🎼❤
Mine was when he sang it in GTA: VC Stories
It’s going to take about three weeks at this tempo 😂
L♡VE IT.
Phil Collins= "Legend"...What more needs to be said! *******!
2021 and Phil’s music still resonates!
Sooooooo impressive!!!!!!
Wow. What a voice!
I literally grew up, listening to his song....
I love you, Phil....
☺️
So good.
This is one man who doesn't get his just due. Phil made so many great catchy hits. Think about the heavyweights Phil was up against. Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, The Police, Hall and Oates, U2 and countless others
It’s crazy how many amazing songs Phil has written! Just endless hits.
he was a machine from the late 70s through early 90s...just a hit writing machine.
Beautiful voice, a legend
What an amazing voice he has 😳😍
Used to have... sadly.
Yes is very sad..
wow -wasn't expecting this to be this good -so effortless
This guy is freaking talented as he--. Wow that's all I can say. God bless him for having this heavenly voice and talent with the drums also what wonderful musician one the best for sure.
this was an amazing performance, also Phil switched from talking to singing in less than a millisecond he was just like you want me to sing In the Air Tonight?SUREICANFEELITINTHEAIRtoNIGITHT!
😀 🎼
Many manufactured singers today can't.
Heyyyy really miss u phil
Love Philly and Genesis! His stuff always sounds great and his voice is so distinct. Yeah babyyy!
Dear today's generation this is music
It’s very sad, you just don’t get hits like this anymore. I hope the rap phase blows over soon. I don’t hate it, but it’s just doesn’t have the soul this does.
Well that was fantastic.
I love you Phil Collins and this song on the air
Seriosuly amazing
And go! Haha. Yes, Howard. Good job Phil. Thrilled to see this. Sounds awesome.
Wow 😍😍😍😍
Love it amazing musician
He is the best.
I'm 31 and my generation made fun of me for loving this guy since middle school. No regrets. Odd thing, I found out about Phil Collins from a 2pac remix and Bone Thugs N Harmony sampled Take Me Home. Glad I saw him live a few years ago.
The best performance in your show! Very emotional! Fantastic! Thanks ✌️
Pitch perfect; immaculate timing and rhythm. (but his drumming is even better)
Dang, that sounded great!
25 years ago...AMAZING!
One of the best to ever live... 👍🏻
“This one I don’t know what it’s about”
I thought it was About that guy, who coulda saved that other guy from drowning. But didn't then Phil saw it all then at that show he found him.
Urban legend! But an interesting one haha.
SWEET SWEET MUSIC MAN..L♡VE TO YOU🕺❤Thx Sharing
THANKS 😁 HOWARD. Great LISTENING 👂 TO YOUR SHOW. LUV YOU LONG TIME ⌚ 👍. LUV SPAZ 🤗
Man, oh man, that voice!
Love Phil!!!!
Just...incredible...
Only thing that sucks is I will probably never get to see him live. We are losing all the good ones.
That was sitting down , no auto_tune ... Something about that song, just don't know👏🏻
Great singer. Imagine having Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel in the same band!
What a great performance 💨
wow GREAT arraignment
Almost every other aristist as struggled with singing this in the morning. NOt Phil Collins
that guitar tho in the second verse
Wow!
Awesome! Always love the show thank you
Perfection
Miami vice, what a great intro for the show.
♥️👏👍🤝🤘
Oui!
Wow.
Di mais ❤
Who’s ready for Phil to release an acoustic hits album?
Yep, minus the piano. In my opinion it just doesn’t fit the song.
I’d love to perform there eventually :)
Dawg.......... It used 2 be better tho
You couldn't perform at yo mamas.
SYNiC77 was there any need???🤣🤣🤣. None the less beautiful burn my friend!!! Noice🤣
@@jackthomas2865 sorry, I can't help but to reply to stupid.
I love it with or without the drums and phil has a beautiful voice.
Definitely don’t like the sped up no drums version but his voice still carries it amazingly
Wow
Best drummer gone singer ever?
Plus Don Henley
👏👍
Mega...
what's the point of watching this without the iconic drum fill?
Here's the infamous drum fill (played by a Gorilla): czcams.com/video/wHjieD6CTYs/video.htmlm49s
Howard "that sounded nice" Stern
Ba doom da boom ba da ba boom.
Would love 2 C - Daryl doing more SOLO work - that is one KICK ASS - Guitar player
2:38
This song sounds familiar.
Surprised Howard didn't ask how long it took to write this song.
This would’ve sounded great with only piano, the guitarist was overdoing it but a lot of musicians usually don’t understand what it means when they say less is more
I agree. He was a great guitar player but the piano was already filling alot of space. Would've sounded better just hitting the chords with an open string ringing out in between, instead of following the piano player
Still sounded good though.
Sonny on the Ferrari wanting to know 'if what we had was real'
I'm a squirrel... hey Sal 👋..
We will never know what this song is really about...
I think it’s about the rapture and the return of Jesus Christ
it's a soft version versus what he can do in concert
His voice is amazing. It a beautiful song but without the drums is a bit of anti climax. It's the bit everyone is bracing for...and then nothing 😐
No drum?
Why is this so rushed?
Well, after dealing with the absolute nutcase that is Orianne Cevey Collins Mejjati Bates (yes that is her name), we should all be expecting his next album to go triple platinum.
Phil seemed very uncomfortable in this interview
Bababooey
JFK JR
First hah
You're my hero, plus you weren't first
@@SYNiC77 Congrats- You're the first hater
@@SYNiC77 you're just jealous scumbag.
Wrong version DansGame
Conor McGregor after a few more losses
Too bad Howard was still in his obnoxious, rude and moronic mode in 1996. If this was recorded today, he would have given Phil a much more insightful interview.
Missing the drums
