90kg / 10% BF was my exact goal when I started lifting around 5 years ago. I was 82kg / 20% BF at the time. I foolishly thought I'd get there in a couple of years (at age 50+). Consistently lifting for 5 years, eating good, many bulking/cutting cycles, I'm currently 94kg / ~18% BF, somewhere along the way, realizing that 10% BF was a silly goal, since I look and feel better at 15% BF, I might finally get to my revised goal after this current cut is done: 90kg / 15% BF is in sight within the next 8 weeks (cutting, as Mike advises at exactly 0.5kg per week consuming ~2500 kcals/day). Btw, followed Mike the entire time. He's always been consistent about saying that consistency is key!

I think the clock should not matter at the gym. Even 15 minutes per day outdoors -i.e. 5 exercises 3 minutes per exercise (eg 3 upper body ... chest press or press ups, lat raises or russian twists/ crunches & pull ups or plank variations followed by 2 for legs like jumping or rowing with load, and steep steps. Adaptive whether you can go to the gym or not. Home time!

99% agree with the point about not obsessing with scale weight. The one caveat I would add is that I still step on the scale every morning and every night, mainly because it's a good indicator of things like dehydration or excess water/waste retention. If I suddenly gain or lose a couple pounds, while I'm following a strict regimen, that usually means something has gone off the rails, and by catching it immediately, I can remedy the issue before it causes additional problems. For instance, I used to notice that my workouts sucked during the winter, and I thought it was just a psychological seasonal thing. But once I started checking my weight pre- and post-workout, I noticed that my weight was fluctuating far more during the winter, and eventually I deduced that it was because my local gym turns the heat up in the winter (about 68°F in the summer, 72°F in the winter), so I was sweating more during my winter workouts. Since then, I just add about a pint of extra hydration pre- and post-workout and my winter slump no longer happens. Point is, stepping on the scale still has value. It's just less about fat loss and more about water loss.

Wasn’t able to comment on the ”How to get a life of FREEDOM 2024” so I comment here.
My background is that I am a teacher for children 10-12 years old and a football coach. This year I’m going to Mallorca for seven months. I am gonna work at a resort as a coach, but will have lots of time to do other stuff such as meeting new people, discovering new places, girls, gym, what to do, what it costs, how I live and so on.
I’ll get some holidays as well during the year where I want to go to different countries such as Israel and Italy. Already been to 28 countries and planning to see more before I leave this earth.
I am thinking of starting this channel + Tik tok and Instagram for more exposure. I don’t know shit about editing, but I’ll begin with a selfie stick and a laptop and from there on let’s see what happens.
If anyone has any recommendations or advice, I am all yours. Cheers🤝

Eat 2 healthy meals a day, replace chips with nuts, drink alot of water, rest properly and most importantly do sets until failure. Doesnt have to be 2h sessions, 30 min is enough but it should be until failure. You dont need any of that macro crap, it just takes away your energy from the actual training.

so I need to lose 5 or 7 kg maybe even 10kgs, to come down to 12%body fat , so excess cardio and cutting calories is the only way, isnt it?
then once down 7kg and a lot of the fat has come off, then I can focus on staying there and just building muscle.

2,2g protein per kg bodyweight isn't too much for someone who is not doing it professionally, it will be obsession to get that grams of protein every day....

It should be 2.2g/kg of clean body weight. Imagine a person with 40% of bodyfat to take these huge amounts of protein. Why to feed a fat mass?
