This is really excellent. The only cover I've found so-far that does any justice to Prince's vision, but yet is anything but mimicry.
I don't know Prince, obviously, but I would be honoured if someone put this much thought and effort, and applied this much talent to anything I wrote.

I loved multi - tracking non stop they way you did this song. It's fun it kept my brain healthy. I learned how to multitask because of working in the studio and DJing ... Real DJing. Mixing and editing was fun for me also. I loved a challenge. It was great.
I hear you my man, the passion part is something you never see going. Even though it can happen. I struggle with the culture around music these days. I was definite inspired by Prince. He is literally the reason I learned music. One of kind, a singular beautiful thing that happened on this earth. Thank you for your words of encouragement.
@@FutureVintageXO hopefully the passion doesn't leave that part of your soul the way mine did. It's hard for me to listen to music without having to listen out for the structure, arrangements and wordplay. Prince made it easy to listen to his music that dude played over 100 instruments and wrote all his own everything. 💯 he was.
