I met Arthuro once I think on Bus 8 in the Old Town station. He's a very down to earth guy and had like a 15 min convo with him after he dropped off all the passengers.

Hi Rene - Starting pay is $22.71/hr with annual increases and a $5,000 sign on bonus.
I think top pay is about 33.00
I am making 80k per year! I am top pay and I work for TRANSDEV but man… TRANSDEV makes you to work one of your two days off MANDATORY. So that is why I am making that amount 😢
Do I need experience to be a bus driver
Hello, no experience is required! We will train you and pay for all licensing. All you need to qualify is 1. be over the age of 21, 2. have a clean driving record, and 3. posses a valid CA driver’s license.

MTS Executives get paid over $250,000/yr.
MTS Bus Drivers are on STRIKE, the sub-contractor TRANSDEV refused to negotiate. They pay $17/hr, in SAN DIEGO where rents run $2500/month.
MTS should fire TRANSDEV and cut out their 40% profit margins for Shareholders. Then they could pay a living wage to drivers.
NEVER CROSS A STRIKE LINE.
