For anyone struggling to connect this to a MacBook Air or Pro, as I just did: use the TRS-TRRS adapter ("Connect Phone") and plug the TRRS-side direct into your *headphone jack*. Mac will recocgnise it as headset-mic, and you're good to go. No need for USB-C adaptors!
On another note, having now tested it a lot, I can say this: it's fun & cheap & practical live gear, as described here. But it's not suitable for high-quality recording. You will get a certain level of built-in background buzz on all recordings, no matter what.

2.4Ghz, that's Wi-Fi band, no? Surely a bit risky for live productions? Does it change paired channel dynamically like a router if the band becomes too congested?

To be fair, they were In a garage 🤷‍♂️ - That said, this is a common objection to 2.4ghz, and understood. We weren’t trying to sell this for live production as it’s really designed more for close range and podcasting or Video work.
It does play within a range yes, but like any wireless device there is always risk attached during live productions. Heck all the stuff is run by electricity, what happens if the power goes out? Just playing devils advocate 🙃. At the end of the day this is an item that cost less than $200 so of course take that into consideration as well.

@@TheDJsGuru I run all my equipment through a power station (like a Jackery type device) with an AC pass-through ;) - but point taken on the intended target audience of the 2.4ghz units. Thanks for the video.

Think you could use this for wedding ceremony?

Sure - you would just need to convert the receiver cable

How far do you this it will go before cut outs

@@charleyklein8494 I have the XLR Wave setup as well, and with that device I've been getting a good 150-200 feet line-of-sight, which has (weirdly) outperformed my $600 Sennheiser UHF rig, so I'm looking at switching all my stuff to digital now.
      Hope that helps! 🤘
