I quit my job and started my detail business in the winter. Everyone told me not to do it because it’s the worst time ever. I did it anyway, today I have a couple weekly regulars that pay me enough to cover my overhead and some irregulars who call me when they need me. He’s right, when people say it’s saturated they haven’t met you. I’m doing what most say not to. My business plan is different. Do it!!
I still have my work on side for family health insurance. Detailing not enough money to cover health insurance for 4 members. I agree detail makes money 💰 yearly. But honestly. 90%of detail companies don’t have family health insurance. It’s tough.
I’m so worried to go full time. Right now I do spring to fall and I have plenty of work tbh just worried to make a jump full time gerrr

I started in November 2022, going door-to-door and visiting businesses, while also reaching out to friends and family. Despite facing some tough times where I didn't make any money, I persevered. Eventually, I came across a dealership that was receiving constant complaints about their vehicles. I convinced them to let me handle their detailing, buffing, and wheel repairs. I showed them the quality of my work and the strength of my team for 6 months. In less than a year, I now have a company that manages customers and the entire dealership, generating over $50,000 per month in business revenue, with a monthly cash flow of over $20,000. The potential for growth is unlimited if you put God first and work hard. If it is His will, everything will fall into place. Work as if you’re working for God!

Im about to start mine! Last week I got a huge cut on my salary from a current job. Im a video producer by profession, with 15 yrs of experience, and I thougth, "I need to look for something different", today I'm just waiting for the equipament I ordered to be delivered for me to start cleaning the interior of my car, grandpa's, in-laws and friends. I'm buying almost all the setup, I have no time to waste, if I can do things quickly with better equipament, I get it (that's on video production). I always believed that washing cars can bring food to my table, but this car detailing bussines its another level that I didn't know. Will see! May God help me, I live in north Idaho, only 3K people in my town but there athor town near by. God haven't leave me, he will provide. Thanks for your video, keep it up!

Me and my business partner started our mobile detailing company almost 2 years ago. We do well from the spring-fall, winter is so/so cause its cold here on the east coast in the winter. We both still work out FT jobs cause we are afraid to make that leap. I may have to put the faith in the lord and go for it!

Do recommend doing all the paperwork to make it a business if you’re only trying to do this for extra side income. My layout so far is to only do it at most 2 days a week can’t quit my bread and butter job. If I was younger maybe but older I’m just looking at it for extra cash for rainy days? As a single parent

I started last year around November I’m almost fully mobile in my sedan. I want to go full time because I’m tired working graveyard shift. I’m struggling to get people I get 1-3 cars at times. Anything that can help with getting customers
I kinda started last year but was only to get a little cash on the side to fund some projects but this year im loading up my 16 wrx and going full mobil i have a full time job to help fund it and its me and a buddy i got into detailing now we have 2 years in at this dealer by my house (ive been detailing since i was 12 im 25 now. Dad was a manager at a big ford dealer in NY for a min) but yea need to get my llc i just ordered a banner for my car so i can advertise that way and on facebook. I dont think ill get to a million dollar point where im at but enough to start out and relocate maybe have either me or my buddy go out west or south and create a foundation there so the other can move down later. we can hire people up here where we are in PA and keep a small branch here i guess but its a low income area. Like 60% the population uses public transport type 😅

what's been up with these type of videos lately about should you start a mobile detailing business in 2023 or 2024 or business is failing. It's the same thing over and over and honestly the detailing industry has become too saturated.
There using those titles to push videos into the algorithm. These are the keywords that are gaining traction

Man, I have to admit. I’m discouraged a little bit, I’ve started with what I’ve got. I now have a usable setup with a tank and pump. My problem is figuring out how to get clients. I’ve done the family, friends, church friends. I’ve even got a semi interior gig, with a trucking company with a fleet of 30 trucks but it is un consistent only when they have a truck in the yard for a day can I do it. I’m trying to start smart, I’ve kept my 70 hour a week, trucking job (because I have a family of 4 with one more on the way) . Luckily the setup cost had been paid for mostly by my details.. I can’t seem to convert anyone into a regular maintenance schedule, and I can’t seem to get into the hands of other new clients.. i have skills, my clients love my work. I have been professionally trained, I used to (in my early 20’s run a full detail shop for an auto group that had bmw, Mercedes and audi) I can polish, I can coat. I just can’t get people in the door. I don’t know if it’s my pricing, my sales pitch, me? It’s real frustrating, I’ve been going since last July. I’d like to go full time. I just can’t seem to figure out how.
