Crazy Fun & Strong Rogue Build For Leveling In Diablo 4

- I just leveled from 1-25 with the the rogue on the d4 beta servers, where I tested a ton of different spells and skills, and this build is by far the strongest and most fun out of all of them. I hope you enjoy this rogue leveling guide as I believe this setup is amongst one of the best farming builds in diablo 4 beta.

I started with this exact build… then reset my skill tree to try the others… came back to this! So fun!
So glad to see a melee rogue guide! Everyone is saying go ranged, but I really only want to play rogue if it's a fast-paced melee assassin type character. I've started lvling the twisting blades build from icyveins and so far having a blast!
The legendary bracers for twisting blades are absolutely wild. On return they spin around you a couple of times. The damage is just insane
I think thats a ring..Or maybe legendary powers can spawn on different items in D4? Either way, yea that power is almost game breaking. Makes everything a cakewalk.
@@Spooferfishpowers can spawn on different items plus you can extract the power and destroy the legendary to imbue it on a new item(turning it into a legendary). But each power has its own required slots, and some powers get an increased effect for certain slots, like for 2h weapons or amulet.
I got a ring that made penetrating shot shoot two extra arrows off to the side. All 3 arrows have a chance to riccochet. I was able to hit like a dozen enemies with one shot, really high damage. Amazing for group damage, though, highly dependent on that ring I found. I'm sad it won't carry over into the alpha lol.

For a video with the title "build for levelling" this does not tell you the good skills for levleling tbh.
Early game rogue,
S1: Puncture with tripple blades is extremely convenient 1-15
S1: Your S1 suggestion is not a levelling skill, it's for generating things for later in the builds.
S2: Barrage on top of the puncture is very conventient lvl 1-15.
S2: Twisting blades is nice later but in the beginning the AOE is just too small, the damage bonus for this inconvenience is negligible.
The rest is do what you want, I prefer mobility so movement speed on crits, shadow step and dash is cool.

Twisting Blades + Dash does such a good job of making you feel like a badass.
I know right? that + shadow inbuement is crazy fun :D
What I found to be better was barrage and twisting blade t be far more dps (after trying this build too) especially when paired with dash and heart seeker, all without legendary buffs. But there are common legendaries with buffs to dash and twisting blades that help immensely. Before legendaries , about double damage of build in video. With legendaries, about sextuple the damage.
It’s a fun mobility build nonetheless, but ways away from highest dps-sustain builds
do you max barrage or tb?
because it would be quite annoying with the lack of energy regen
sad there is no skill trees yet on 3rd party sites but i used this build and works pretty well, i enjoyed it. just hit 25 in beta need to farm some legendary items now

So did you get rid of Dark Shroud for Shadow clone? I am confused because you have 7 skills and only 6 slots

Go dark shroud in most situation, don't even need shadow clone, you still crush everything.
this is very close to the build i settled on as well
Love the build, though for some reason it was requiring me to put 2 points in my shadow step in order to get the extra two enhanced and methodical shadow step moves as to were you only have one point in shadow step. Maybe the changed it since your video? Just thought it was interesting.
What specialization do you use?
Hmm you take dark shroud but it is not on your bars? Could that not be 2 points in weapon master instead? or something else any reason to take something not on your bars?
How do you work the mouse and keyboard? Same as D3? Great video my friend! ❤

im not seeing shadow clone on your keybinds
Use this with the Legendary Bow, that make them swirl., They are still shadow infused. Means you oneshot bosses.
@eighty Yeap. Its a bow, at last for me. It has the Effect, that once blades return, they swirl around you. Paired with the Talent, that you heal yourself for 1% when you crit (I removed some other stuff from his build) makes me pretty much enter Godmode and oneshot bosses.
paired with the "Eye" Class ability, that you gain unlimited Energy.
Thanks for the video, how did you level up? As in when did you invest in a new ability vs upgrading an existing one?
Usually when you unlock a new Node, you pick 1-2 core abelites early, and then you can upgrade an existent core ability when there is nothing else better

I followed your instructions to the letter and I still couldn’t get my rogue to do the things that Your Build was seen doing in the video.. That ability where all those shots came from all over the places to hit and kill the enemies? How come mine doesn’t do that and I followed your build exactly.
It's a shrine buff ( the glowy symbol thing above the characters head) is what gives him the extra shots each attack

That's probably why he called this vide "Crazy Fun & Strong Rogue Build For Leveling" and not "Boss Build"
What is the ability that causes you to shoot little daggers everywhere while melee? i cant find it
