Hey jorraptor about items vanishing is that it happened to me however once I reached the level of the bow and other ledgendary items they reappeared. So don't freak. Ikelos revealing items loot enemies is a bit bugy. The arena fights I could only do the first three but when I went for the athenians at lvl 93 while being lvl 74 I got owned. But it is taking forever to lvl up. I'm 76 and a half now. Got a fully upgraded ship and got my skin and ships mast head that I missed in episode 2. Sad to say you don't get more segments for upgrading your spear all over.

I still say the biggest benefit of NG+ is being able to re-do all the missions as these generally gave much more XP than bounties, quests or war contracts which will make farming for Mastery Levels much easier than just grinding.
Kind of upset that I always went out of my way to get the fast travel points only to find that I have to get all of them again
NG+ for Odyssey is quite frankly GREAT. I think people underestimate what it would mean going through the game at whichever pace you wanted, and it would make it far more feasable to get to level 99 and start experimenting with some really fun builds.

Noticed that the compass changed in the map. It used to be in top right, now it’s in bottom left. And the design has changed as well to what looks like a temple.
I can confirm that you retain your mercenary rewards so make sure you get to the S4 before starting a new one. Also, the beginning horse that Markos gives you has 3 skins. You just need to choose a different one from your previous game.

Yeah but GoW of is like 1/10 of the Odyssey in terms of scale. Well not even that you can complete whole GoW with everything in like 50 hours and in linear corridor fashion. With basic barebone gameplay. I think Ubisoft already did a lot for Odyssey

So to get around the bug of losing gear, as mentioned in the video, I feel like it would be wise to make to manual saves, and keep them both quite up to date, with one not far behind the other just in case the game decides to screw you over
Ubisoft nailed this game. Specially with Kassandra. But wish there was some beginning to the assassin order before he formed it. Also hope we get the blade after the third episode of the DLC. Imagine Kassandra having that.

If you start with the warning, everyone is going to read it. It's much better to leave it for last and really piss people off.
FYI, if you store your Legendary armor in your ship's inventory, when you re-acquire them from a quest or NPC, not only will you avoid the disappearing items bug, but also it seems the Entire Set gets free levels. I had my Serpent set in my ship's storage when I killed the NPC that gives you the serpent chest. It 'pulled' the item out of my ship and gave me a fresh version at level 71 like I expected it to. However, when I returned to the ship to store it away, I found that ALL the Serpent armor pieces, which had been level 30-ish, were now level 71. This did not apply to the weapon, though.
I don't know if this will repeat if I get another piece of the set later on, but for now it seems that storing your legendaries on your ship not only avoids losing the item to bugs, but potentially can save you hundreds of thousands of drachmae in upgrade costs. This *may* be a bug that gets patched out later, but it is *totally* a great way to get free upgrades for your legendary sets.

I played this game out like 3 times. Now I ended the main story like 7 months ago and am still finishing everything there is to do before starting New Game plus. I'm already level 99 and have amazing perks so imagine how powerful I will be in new game plus
A multiplayer were bunch of players play on this huge map doing their own stuff and hunting eachother would a be a dream game
watching this after finishing valhalal nnd getting all the end game stuff done, there's so much more to do in odyssey that it's overwhelming at first
I'm hoping the Atlantis DLC is more like Origins Pharoah DLC give us more imaginative levels and enemies :)

There is a bug where Hephaistos doesnt apply the discount for learning new engravings anymore. Hope they fix that soon. But with ACO Ubisoft takes really long to fix bugs, even the worst ones. They dont even make a statement, they just wait. I also think decreasing the drachme and resources we get to boost the Helix Store pack sales is a dick move from ubi.
So basically best to do Newgame+ at level 99 so all your legendary's get updated for free :D

@@benjbest No, but if u have a ledgendary armor or wepon om łvl 50 and u kill the Guy who drops that specific item again and hes on lvl 99 then the item Will be at the same lvl as the Guy who droppen it.

Odyssey level restrictions and how large the map is + how much each time required exp raises needed to next lvl... i literalely have played 40 hours and have just finished chapter 3. Only slowly starting to figure out how contracts work and naval battles...taked maybe twice couple weeks break the game too. Now as i listen jor talk about new game + maybe i give it a go if they fix the bugs in it what has mentioned this video. It can take months to finish this game main quest line and probably personally it will take from me since i love explore every canny and nook in openworld games especially since the enviroment and music is so nicely done as it is in odyssey.

You can bypass the bug by capping out at 99 before doing ng+
I got my merc rank to s4 I was killing lv99 mercs with a lv71 character wanted that bonus. They need to Make leveling past 70 less of a grind tho.... I got 37 premium items without spending a penny!! I want to get as much for free as possible. I would never pay for that junk!. Was waiting for dlc to start ng+ but with all these bugs I might hold off. I had the Hades Bow problem too, you have to reload before the encounter (which cost me 1 hour of time wasted), I found the same mercenary in the same location, removed the bow off my use, used another bow, then killed and looted him. It will stay in your inventory and not disappear and you will be able to use it normally and fine with any attachments when you reach the recommended level. (I think the same goes for any other weapon or piece of armor)
So just don't carry the items you're about to loot and it'll be safe?? What about changes in armor? I played with Alexios at first but want to start a NG+ with Kass and eventually with Alexios again in a NG++. Will I have any issues??

Please help!!!! The game will not let me finish the quest "Home". I have tried ubisoft, no dice. I have tried everything I can think of. I have ruled out everything on my end. It is in the digital copy of the game. I am well versed in the AC universe. I continued, on thinking all would be well when episode 3 came out. Well I have maxed out exp, money, material, and several hundred masterly levels and really don't want to file this experience under "G ".

i got that bug with the hades bow, if you lose your gear go to a blacksmith and Engravings and you will find it there, it worked for me, and i had to engrave it again to see it in my inventory.

If u started with Cassandra and then start with alexis a ng+ u will have the amazonian armor but when you get a piece of armor of Achilles it will transform from amazonian to Achilles but u can use both as visual customization so yeah u can be an Amazon as alexios 😂

@@aaronvanzomeren8775 when you get to max level 99 crit chance at full health engraving is 20% and you put it on head and feet. Then 10% crit chance on bow, gloves and waist I think. Then max out your mastery crit. And the weapon in the store gives you a flat 10% crit chance

Still in the main game, but encountered an hiccup. I had two unused ability points. I got bushwhacked by a Spartan foot soldier, and after the game started again, those points were gone. Has anyone else had this happen? Shame on me for not spending them right away, but did not foresee that happening.
Dirksonamission yep similar thing happened to me. Was saving ability points for the new warrior ability that comes with the 3rd installment. Not happy.

Hey Jor got a really cool thing that happened in NG+. I have both the base-game save and a NG+ save that i work on, I did the weekly quest and the daily one in my normal save and got the 50 orichalcum, i then went to my NG+ save and, although the weekly was gone from this save there was another daily I could do for another 10 orichalcum
How did you get the Orichalcum locations to show on the in-game map?
Glad I never decided to do a NG+ because I prefer playing as Kassandra and I think she's better than Alexios. I also don't want to try and defog the entire map which takes a while.
That's what I'm doing, I got to Athens in the main story so now I'm just doing side quests and finding all the hidden locations
If you really played odyssey like really finished it, with all the legacy DLC and atlantis 3 episode DLC's, you wont play + because you will be tired as hell
My hades bow also disappeared out of my inventory, but after a while it randomly showed back up again.

I also noticed that amount of money you get from selling gear is decreased SIGNIFICANTLY! Instead of 10k+for epic gear you now get 2-3k+. I sold over 100 pieces of gear and barely got anything back.

He does say you lose all viewpoints so ikaros would be back at level 1

I got the same bug. I was using the Hades bow, and looted it from an enemy. Then it was gone. It showed back up in my inventory after i leveled up.
The absolute most frustrating part of this game, is how small the fight areas are for the mythical creatures, & various other boss fights. But I have to say, I never thought Ubisoft would be able to out do Origins. Gaw'damn if they didn't do just THAT with Odyssey! This game is an RPG explorer's wet dream.
Not sure If I'll say the same about Valhalla. I'd rather fight on the side of old England, than those raping, village burning heathen Vikings. Not sure if anyone else has gotten the same problem but I leveled up from 76 to 77 while I was hunting for the tombs to find the civilization steles to get the ability points and I didn’t get an ability point from the level up. I’m guessing the points gained from the steles might be bugging out my level up points. Anyone else have this happen?

I had the same issue with the Hades bow. Killed a merc and looted him. He had a level 73 version of the bow. Then the bow disappeared. Continued playing for an hour or so, then BAM, that level 73 Hades bow was back in my inventory. I did not do anything special, I just kept playing the game and the bug seems to have cleared itself.

I did everything in the game. Got to lvl 99. Stared a new game plus. Went to the arena. Fought the enemy's twice. But no new arena set gear. And the other legendary gear I got was lvl 97.
so... even tho i have to rekill all the cultists? do my spear upgrades still keep? because im not able to activate it now lol im like what?

I think I will wait untill I finished the third episode of the Atlantis DLC before I start new game plus. Because then I will have a ton of playing hours while I'm waiting for the new AC game.
Dark strider mentioned that you CAN find ALL the single orichalcum again... and he showed the orichalcum map.... will check this...
Another thing i’ve found with the new update is in naval battles. You used to be able to board a ship even if others were still attacking you but they no longer let you do that and you have to either sink or disable all the ships you are fighting before you can board one.

If i were you I'd get the gold edition you get 3 games for 33 bucks (ac3 remastered and AC liberation remastered) plus the season pass and all the dlc
I am waiting until I get to level 99, upgrade my most-used gear, and complete the third episode of LotFB before starting a NG+ play through. I‘m up to level 76, mercenary level s4 (4 guys left above me), and all but 1 ship upgrade.
Back up your save onto a flash drive because your original save will be deleted by all the new game plus auto saves. I lost weeks worth of non stop grinding and playing missions and quests. Don’t learn it the hard way like I did
Legacy outfits could've been a cool incentive to get more players to do new game +, but ah well, i guess new story choices will have to do.
