Desperato, Lyin' eyes, Take it to the limit, New kid in town, etc, are other great songs of Eagles. They are a fantastic band.
Peaceful easy feeling another amazing song on their first album
people are getting strikes for playing their songs..so best not to react to their stuff, I know one channel that might be totally taken down because of it
Oh no! not Lying eyes! Thats a devestating one! but olso one of my favorites!
Every member could sing, and almost everyone had his own parts. Good old times!
Bernie was a much better singer than Walsh
@@pulsarlights2825
No.
@@Art-is-craft Opinions vary, but I heard Glenn Frey say that, but I am sure you know better...lol
@@pulsarlights2825
They have different voices that suit different songs as do the other singers in the band.
@@Art-is-craft The Eagles country rock sound and harmonizing ended when Bernie left IMO, they went for the more harder rock guitar sound with Walsh....If I need a hard rock fix, The Eagles are not on my list of go to bands for that type of music
Jackson Browne wrote this song. Glen Frey added a verse and the Eagles had their first hit with it.
you can immediately tell - this could be easily on his 'running on empty'
Aloha, l was home in Sunny Hills, Fullerton. Jackson and l went thru elementary to high school. They were friends and devoted their musical intellectualism, always.
Viewers warning music reactors about The Eagle's policy on issuing multiple copyright strikes.
*Bisscute: "Hold my beer!"* 😆
It's a dangerous game you play, girl! 🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
@@beachem1 I really don't see why this is so funny to you.
That’s why we love her
One of my favorites from the same 77 concert is "Take It to the Limit" with the bass player as the lead singer.
The song you’re talking about is take it to the limit, my very favorite song of the Eagles. And I grew up in their heyday. I’ve seen them three times since I’ve been older, and they’re the best group I’ve ever seen, play other hits and sound just like their hits. They’re expensive and I hate spending the money just because so much pettiness went on that group but the soundtrack of growing up anyway it was Randy Meisner song (bass player) And nobody can sing it like he does, though Glenn Frey did a decent job. Not sure who will sings it since Glen,s passing. Even if you can’t react to it, it’s very hard to get it to stay, you must watch that performance. Best performance of anyone in my opinion in my life.
The bass player is Timothy B. Schmidt. One time bass player for Poco.
The original bass player was Randy Meisner, he is the one that sang Take It To The Limit originally.@@SGC511
@@SGC511 He didn't join the Eagles until 1978.
@@kennet7837 you are correct. I did see it done by Schmidt though
“When The Eagles were formed how many vocalists should we have? Yes” Your reaction to this entire performance was the best !!
So glad i had the privilege to grow up with this music!!
At least 2 other reactors quit music reactions basically in the past month due to Eagles - Hotel California and getting strikes against their channel for it and they been doing music reactions for years.
Fun facts: at the corner of North Kinsley and Old Hwy 66 in Winslow there is a statue celebrating the lyric "standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona.." A block away there is Flatbed Ford Cafe.
Going to be there in a month! 😊
I saw the Eagles in concert in 1980 in San Francisco. They were fabulous. Growing up in the 70's they were my favorite band and they still are today.
You're talking about band chemistry! so many bands to love here... I grew up in Seattle in the 70's I was a teen... Seen Zepp 3 times pf in the 70's, Supertramp 3 times... plus many many bands...
How could anyone ever not like the Eagles. So many hits and so much talent. A different time and a different kind of band. Keep dancing!
Eagles was so damn good. You have Don Henley on drums, Glenn Frey sings lead here, he's no longer with us. Joe Walsh on the guitar far right, next to him is Don Felder. And I believe the bassist in Randy Meisner, later replaced by Timothy B Smith. I had the pleasure of seeing them live when Glenn Frey was still alive.
Definitely need to react to the live version of "Take it to the Limit" from the same concert.. it featured Randy Meisner on lead Vocal.. in my opinion the Eagles unsung (Pun intended) hero!
"Take It To The Limit" is my favorite Eagles song, and they have a lot of great songs.
Eagles brought every age group into their music. My mother in law knows every word to every song she's 84. She listened to all fifties music until the Eagles came around. Great feel good music for the most part. Lots of extremely talented musicians.
Yes. I feel that the 70's was the culmination of a musical renaissance that began in the 50's. Truly, we can never go back. The ones who lived through it probably thought it would never end. They're the lucky ones.
Glenn Frey is the main vocalist, but Randy Meisner does backing on the iconic verse "Standing on a corner..." His voice is unmistakable. RIP to both Glenn and Randy, your music has meant so much to me and I'm sure millions of others.
You can actually stand on the corner in Winslow, AZ, there’s a statue and everything. This one song drives a whole tourist industry in a tiny little town, it’s awesome.
I admire the way they lifted each other up.
Don't forget When Hell Freezes Over.
My favorite band growing up. Every guy in that band was so talented.
The 70's was a magical time in my life for music. Got me through Junior & High school.
Used to do a lot of driving in the 1970s. This was a favourite driving song at the time.
“It’s a girl my lord in a flatbed Ford slowen down to take a look at me.” A master class in lyrics.
This line-up of the Eagles (from the concert here):
Don Felder - guitar
Glenn Frey - guitar
Don Henley - drums
Randy Meisner - bass
Joe Walsh - guitar
All had solo careers, and had been in bands prior to the Eagles.
Check out The James Gang, Poco, Stone Canyon Band along
with many acts they were connected to like Fleetwood Mac,
Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, Kenny Loggins, the Allman Bros.,
CSNY, Buffalo Springfield, the list goes on.
The simplicity. Just the band and their talent.
glen frey and don henley started the band together glen frey is the singer of this song they share the singin glen died last year
1:42 that is the correct response to this song
Already Gone is another great song by the band if you want to test your luck.
Careful if you react to eagles stuff, everyone always get copywrite strike against them
Allegedly.
*FTFY
Great Reaction Bisscute! Fun fact about Take It Easy! One of the lyrics says I’m standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona and there’s a girl in a flatbed Ford slowing down to take a look at me! Winslow, Arizona became very popular because of this song and so the city erected two statues of Glen Frey and Jackson Browne in honor of Take It Easy! Glen Frey is the Cofounder/Leader of the Eagles and Don Henley (Drummer) is the cofounder of the Eagles!
Joe Walsh is the guy with the Bandanna! (He winked at you)!
Brad and Lex might lose their channel because of Eagles music strikes. They struck one of their videos and all the ones they had previously recorded. I would delete anything you’ve done related to the Eagles.
Yeah, I didn't realize how bad it was until I saw their video.
I just made a similar comment. Don't want to lose Bisscute as well.
I hope that Brad and Lex hang on. Brad is kinda flat, but Lex gives the channel energy.
That kind of crap makes me not want to listen to their music anymore, and I’ve been an Eagles fan for 50 years. I think these reaction videos help introduce their music to younger audiences and win them new fans. It keeps their music relevant but then they ruin the moment by putting copyright strikes against the reactors
@@angelskunk2206it’s so annoying because Randy, felder, Joe and Timothy all seem like such nice people but then you have greed personified in Henley and Frey leading the band, gives the rest a bad rep
The Eagles are one of a few bands that have live tracks worth listening to. You really have to check out the live "Take It To The Limit" performance from 1977. The song was written for Randy Meisner, the bass player, who has a 3-octave voice and has a show-stopping moment at the end. You will be amazed. Guaranteed.
Hotel California by the Eagles is beautiful. I recommend it
The Eagles - I Can't Tell You Why will surprise you!! 😉👍 The bass player is singing this song!!
Linda Rondstat was the main influence in the formation of this band. Most of the members were included at her suggestion.
Great concert. Keep exploring it. You'll like what you find.
How many vocalists should we have in this band? Yes.
One of my favorites.
i saw the Eagles in '72? in Washington, DC..... they were the opening act for "Yes"....opening act !!!!!!!
And again you play a song from the year I graduated and you seemed to enjoy it but you can't imagine what it was like when I was young....... but thank you baby girl
The Drummer is Don Henley, you would enjoy some of his solo work like "New York Minute" and "Dirty Laundry"
The lead on this one is Glen Frey
Other songs have Joe Walsh "Life's been good","In the city", or TimothyB. Schmidt on lead
The most talent of any band in history!!! imo
Walsh solo is amazing 🤘😃
If you want to hear a third lead vocalist, do "Take It To the Limit" with Randy Meisner on lead. He was the bass player at the time and sang the high harmonies behind Glen Frey in the video you just watched. BTW, guitarist Joe Walsh (wearing the bandana) sings lead on some of their songs, too!
You found arguably our best American band.😊
Their concerts were so fun. This brings back great memories of my youth
Another good tune thankyou ❤
The Guy playing guitar with the bandana is Joe Walsh. He had several hits on his own. As did many of the other members of the band. Just a suggestion but maybe try just studio versions of their hits and tell us what you think. The Eagles have 3 Greatest Hits albums.
Yes, they all sing back up vocals and to put a cherry on top, most of them sing lead vocals and have their own#1 hit songs that sold millions of records. Listen to the bass player singing, "I can't tell you why".
Saw them 4 times over the years and the perfection of their harmonies LIVE always blew my mind!
This band is so talented that every member launched a solo career. Don Henley (the drummer) was the most successful, although Joe Walsh (guitarist) also had quite a few hits.
Seven Bridges Road is probably the crown jewel of Eagles harmonies, worth a listen. Great reaction.
I've been a musician for a long time, and the Eagles' take it easy song, it's absolutely in my top best 5 songs ever!
I feel like the Eagles are one of those bands who they and their music never go out of style. Sweaters will always be warm, and the Eagles will always be good!
So many great Eagles songs. They are the highest selling American band of all time.
To check out how well their Harmonies can blend together, Check out "Seven Bridges Road".
The lead singer is Glen Frey and he had a song (among many) called "Smugglers Blues" that you should do, along with the video, which is like a mini-movie. I don't recommend videos normally b/c most of them are cheesy as hell, but this one is an exception.
oh "smugglers blues" is on my Miami Vice soundtrack CD. :)
Don't forget The Heat is On and You Belong To The City ;)
@@pianoekket .....and "Party Town" and "I Found Somebody" and "The One You Love" and "Sea Cruise" and "She Can't Let Go" and "True Love".😉
Definitely agree!
Maybe you should listen to TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT from the same concert, to see even another leadsinger of the band.
i was there in the beginning (NCState '74) and this rock country genre was first brought forth by Graham Parson....he was an inspiration to scores of artists and fans .... including me ......this song has a line "standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona.....people still go to Winslow to stand on corners....
The drummer is Don Henley. The guy singing here is the late great Glenn Frye. Henley and Frye are the founders of the band. They left Linda Ronstat to start the band. They are known for their harmonizing.
My favorite band of all time!
Favorite Band!
This song brings back beautiful times in my life, one of my favorite songs that makes me feel good about daily life..❤❤❤❤❤
They could all sing
Love the Eagles. One of my favorite bands of all time.
They are amazing ❤️
😢😭 RIP Randy Meisner original bassist/ founder of the Eagles March 8th 1946 - July 26, 2023 Died of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease at the age of 77. The band was formed in 1971, Meisner left the band 1977. This last concert you would see him again!!
Love your reaction! You are 100% correct regarding the question of “How many vocalists should we have in this band?” The answer is definitely “Yes!.” Any one of this group could have fronted a band, and the result is the best harmonies in all of music. Eagles are a celebrated but perhaps still somewhat underrated band. Cheers!
They are often called the American Beatles. I consider them the 27 Yankees, the 85 Bears, and the 96 Bulls in a 5 man band.
According to the Eagles website they have 60 people actively searching for copyright infringement. They go beyond getting them blocked and you'll get strikes, three of those and you're done on CZcams.
Charles Berthoud did a bass cover of Hotel California and he got copyright striked.
Thats a shame as I don't think these reaction channels lose the owners of the Eagles copyright any money whatsoever, nothing at all. At this stage I am happy to hear & see songs from the past & see reactions from people like Bisscute but I am not about to buy music from the 60s/70s/80s/90s it's just a few minutes idle enjoyment & I'm pretty sure the same goes for most on here.
Dick move by the Eagles
@@neillenet291 Publishing companies.
@@Chris.Davis.2 The Eagles ARE the publishing company.
Glen Frey (RIP) the singer and rhythm guitar here and Don Henley the drummer, were the primary songwriters and singers although everyone chipped in quite a bit
Everything on the Eagles greatest hits album is awesome!
The Eagles are FANTASTIC,,,,,top 6. 💥💥💥👍😎
This was the first Eagles song I ever heard. At the time, it encapsulated the way my life felt. Take it easy. Keep moving. Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy. Watch out for that flatbed Ford!
This is music❤
When concerts were concerts. I seen The Eagles this tour, just phenomenal.
My favourite Eagle’s song. Good vibes from this song. Love it
Real music.
That song originated from another super talent by the name of Jackson Brown. It's based on his real life experience. His vehicle broke down and he was standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona.
Don Henley is the drummer in Glenn Frey is the one singing this song with the guitar
A song a lot of people don't give much credit to but it is very beautiful is Seven Bridges Road
Having a good time on stage makes the music flow even better.
I played this song while on the corner in Winslow Arizona. lol
There actually is a corner in Winslow Arizona dedicated to the Eagles. It is a small town in the middle of nowhere but when a friend and I found it on a road trip in the middle of the night. Eagles music was playing but not a single sole was around. It’s off the iconic Route 66.
Oh didn’t know that ❤️
Don Henley ❤❤one heck of a singer, 🥁 may he and Glen fry lead guitar and keyboard and piano❤❤ ea g les are forever RIP fellows❤❤❤
I'd recommend the track "I Can't Tell You Why" led by bassist Timothy B. Schmit. He has an angelic voice suited perfectly to that song.
Love this tune love your Rs all good
Thank you
"Apparently they all can sing". Well yes, yes they can. Great reaction.
Take it to the Limit is my favorite Eagles track
it's so nice to see you can appreciate the oldies too, which is a gem
Glenn Frey Was The Lead Singer, He Died" Don Henley " Also Sings And Plays The Drums!! Together They Are/Were Incredible!! Many Millions Of Albums Sold!! And Soldout Concerts!!
They have four different members that can sing lead! Amazing group!
Another good one with the lead singer being Joe Walsh, The electric guitar player, is the song Life's Been Good
I love your reactions. You show your nice personality and your accent is so adorable. Love!
Take it to the Limit 1977 performance with Randy Meisner playing bass and singing lead. What an awesome performance and song. Guaranteed to blow your mind.
Oh? I’ll note that ❤️
The Eagles are one of the most talented, hardest working bands of all time. It's so frustrating when they block reaction content. Linda Ronstadt played a role in getting founding members Glenn Frey and Don Henley together. Good luck!
Another great reaction Bisscute. You literally can't go wrong picking a song to react to by these guys - and there are many. Personal favorite of mine, out of many, is "I Can't Tell You Why"..... Highly recommend it to you.
I second Take It To The Limit with Randy Meisner as lead who passed away a few months ago
You haven't even scratched the surface yet of the Eagles, dive deep and linger ya wont be disappointed.🤘
love the eagles
I love your reactions ❤️ and i love you
Hi Biss, 🎶
A debut that shows that they had what it takes to make it on the road to success. " You shouldn't get to big too fast" Glenn Frey
A winding melody, cool harmonies, everyone's getting into it having fun, catchy lyrics on the quest for love, more meaningful than it first seems, sticks in your head for years to come, I like that there's also a banjo in the mix. Jackson Browne was writing a early version down in the basement but couldn't quite finish it, when his upstairs neighbor Glenn Frey heard that give him a different idea about how to write songs & was inspired to come up with the unfinished verse "it's a girl, my lord, in a flatbed ford , slowing down to take a look at me"Browne had broken down having spent a long day in Winslow, Arizona, there's a park statue there now in honour of the song, other standouts from the Album include " peaceful easy feeling" & "witchy woman". Jackson Browne recorded his own version on his second album 'For Everyman' in 73.
When they got back together for the Grammy's Awards which they never played before, Jackson sing lead as a tribute to Glenn who recently passed.
Other recommendations: Desperado , lyin eyes , one of these nights, new kid in town, take it to the limit & tequila sunrise.
There's also a MTV unplugged special & the hell freezes over live album from 94, 14 years after they broke up, a farewell Melbourne concert & the first ever 2007 double album ' The long road out of Eden ' since 79's the long run.
Also check out these solo career's, Joe Walsh's life's been good , rocky mountain way & a life of illusion. Don Henley's taking you home, all she wants, dirty laundry, New York min & the end of the innocence. Glenn Frey smugglers blues, sexy girl, the heat is on(Beverly hills cop) & you belong to the city.
on a finishing note did you know it was Linda Ronstadt that brought them together.
Thanks Bisscute, there really overstating it with the copyright but seem to know what there talking about, try your best not getting a strike or just enjoy their music on your own time , Take care 🤠 💕🤟
