I got my first M&P about 10 years ago, didn't take long to start building that M&P line up and replacing glocks. The first full size 9mm that I got has had a few thousand rounds ran through it and it just runs. Never changed a part on any of my M&P's except sights. My latest M&P purchase was the 5" FDE 9mm, what a dream to shoot! The 45 ACP is a very smooth pistol also.

One of the best handguns on the market. I have a first gen 4.25 inch barrel version that I've put in access of 8000+ rounds through of all types of different 9mm ammo from expensive self defense to the cheapest ball ammo I could find. Never, Not once have I had any type of malfunction. That may be hard to believe and I understand but you couldn't ask for a better built or more reliable handgun. If you in the market for a handgun do youslef a favor and get one.

The main reason I went with the 13144, M&P 2.0 - 4" (15+1rd) instead of that, is the front rail on mine. I wanted the shorter 3.6, but wonder if they can't make it work to have the shorter still function with the slide & cut for O.R.
