I tried a friends 5-in version at the range great shooting pistol porting works fine to stop majority of muzzle rise. It had a holo sun 507c great shooting and accurate. On my list.
Absolutely! The gun is solid n that optic 507c is incredible
With the 507c did the sights co witness well with it? I saw the delta point is to tall for the sights it comes with

Just bought this gun! Havnt shot it yet though. What you said about the front sight getting dirty is really interesting though since I havnt heard anyone else say that in any video before.
But I got the 5” and most videos I’ve watched are on that specific version. I wonder if it’s possible it’s not as much of a problem on the longer barreled version? Guess I’ll find out.
But to be fair I’ve always planned on buying a factory black 5” m&p barrel to primarily use anyways so it won’t be a major issue if I have that problem too.
So when they re-designed this gun in the 2.0 version what they did was put the front sight closer leaving a space closer to muzzle open for the porting so it doesn’t get dirty, more like a compensator if you will. It is a phenomenal firearm and I definitely love shooting it. It’s not a huge deal that the sight even gets dirty it’s just something that I noticed when shooting.
Good review. Is this the 2.0 or 1.0 model? Hard to tell on my phone.
This is the original version, the 2.0 is even nicer!
I'm getting some failures with this pistol... failure to eject and slide not locking back on last round... tried a couple different 115 grain ammo... going to try 124 see if it fixes it
If it’s a new gun def 124’s! Also make sure it’s lubed really good during break-in
I had the same problem. Stovepipes galore with 115 gr. Switched to 124 gr and that fixed the problem.
Just got one on the 3rd an it came with 2 17 round magazines
I am a New York State resident, so we have a 10 round magazine limit. But the factory mags should be 17 rounders for the 2.0. This is the original version which I thought came with 15 rounds but I could be wrong again in New York State no matter what it should come with. We are given 10 round magazines.

Couldn’t you have just switched to a non-ported barrel..
Absolutely! I just wanted to review the Gun as it comes but when I run it for comps I run non ported so the carbon doesn’t mess up sights
You can clean it up easily, it seems that your complaints about this gun are really nothing
Oh for sure! I absolutely love this gun n glad they made the changes on the newer version to correct the issues, although minor, definitely noticeable when your shoot a lot- prior to this shortage I’d shoot it about 1000x/week
Glock angle is one of the worst
Everyone has a favorite grip angle for sure
