To me the most useful extensions are: Adblock Plus; Pop up blocker; I don't care about cookies; Download Sorter; WOT Web of Trust and Magic Actions for CZcams.
one more extension that I find really interesting and should deserve to be in this list is "ViewedIt" - it's a screen, voice and webcam recording extension. Features an easy to use interface. Generates your screen capture instantly and also has easy to share options

I would never use Lastpass because it stores all passwords in the cloud. This would be a magnet for hackers. Instead, I use KeePass because it lets me store my passwords in a locally encrypted file.

AdBlock plus is a good extension to have, if you are whitelisting the authentic websites to support online journalism and resource sharing.
uBlock Origin blocks way more ads for me and uses less resources
