That opening clip was one of three times New Jack very nearly killed someone. Dark Side of the Ring did a great episode on him. For that specific clip, New Jack was trying to kill Vic Grimes as revenge for a bad botch in a previous match. Right before he threw him off New Jack tazed the hell out of Vic, Vic said "I can't feel my legs." New Jack replies "You won't need them," then tried to murder a man.

Oh man, this has unlocked a core memory. Played this at my friends house (i'd never played it before) and I kept on beating him, he got a little pee'd off, but I thorougly enjoyed the game!
Not an ICP fan but I had a weird obsession with collecting wrestling games back in the day. So I can sadly say I still own this lol

This may not have been a great game but for those of us back in the day who like to get high or a little drunk and just fiddle around with a dorky game that has people that we know it was okay. I paid like $25 for it new and we played it for probably 3 or 4 days so it was worth it

I remember seeing adverts for this as a kid, and vaguely wanting to try it out. I couldn’t though because no one I knew had it and I had a gamecube(which I may not have had yet idk). I forgot about it completely until now, almost 20 years later I get to vicariously experience it through you guys.
I remember this game with fond memories. Not the greatest by any means, but ultimately did what games are meant to do, brought mates together and had some fun.
New Jack is dead now - he died on 14th May 2021 aged 58.

For some reason I rented these games. At least on the Xbox version you could save the soundtrack to your HD even if there were only like 2 good songs

I love this game! Far from one of the worst games ever
I literally only bought this and the first because of ICP. Played one whole match and the AI didn't let me get a single hit in so I never picked it up again
Not much into wrestling games, but I was hooked when I saw the easiest way to cheese the fights was just bash someones head in into it was essentially mush. lol. Totally like real wrestling!

Hell yeah! Those lapel mics are great! Multi microphone techniques are great!
More mics = better chance to capture what you are trying to capture. Try different settings on different mics, too, so if one mic distorts maybe another will capture without the distortion.

These vids are funny and enjoyable , but I do feel like triple jumps thumbnails aren’t the most clickable for me :/
I love how the warning at the beginning has 3 warnings but isnt long enough for people to read.

Ah, teenage me loved the over the top environmental moves in this game.
I don't think the game was that bad. some of the story mode stuff was stupid hard like winning with only strikes or only submissions. it was a u unique fighting game.

This game can be as bad as it likes for the simple thing that it pixelates under the kilt when you pin xD I love it.
If you guys want an alternative to having physical games sent in, softmod a box and grab the xbox torrent collection. It's in 3 parts and it's as easy as FTPing the game files over... You'll probably want a bigger hard drive though, perhaps an SSD or CF card mod.

Multiplayer is the real experience for this game, you just need a friend to do the most fucked up spots doesn't hit as hard with the AI

The only way to fight the other wrestlers you need to complete the missions and every time you complete every Mission and every stage you get to fight one of the wrestlers

Iono bro. I played this and the first one for countless hours. And absolutely loved it. Idk maybe it's cuz as a kid I was super into wrestling and if it wasn't for this game. I wouldn't have became a juggalo.

Thats not just random wrestling clips that's all backyard wrestling shows now known as jcw and its based off Japanese style wrestling i don't remember what that ones called unfortunately
You make a point of saying that the intro cinematic contains no actual gameplay footage, but that wasn't indicative of quality at the time - much better games in the "extreme stuff in videogame form supergenre did the same thing, the most notable example to my mind being Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series.

It looks like they were trying to go for a crazy free for all Def Jam type game. Def Jam is one of the best fucking games back in the day when you got to be a different rapper and you could either fight separately or you could follow the story. That's what this game almost seems like he wants to be but they just took too many shortcuts

Was a juggalo and I love wrestling, but even I could admit that these games were ass.
It's perplexing enough that Famitsu reviewed this game to begin with but the fact that they gave it a slightly above average review is fucking bonkers. 🤪
