    Loving the content Cameo..! Great Q&A - I like Sep Studio and am looking forward to see what's new in the upcoming release. I'd love to hear your take or others on merging channels intelligently for us 6 color guys and thoughts on mesh. I use a complicated formula and make sure I print at the right dpi for my mesh but others thoughts / methods / experiences would be awesome.. Print Life.!

  • @blacksheepserigraphie9209

    I use séparation studio for spot color process and ultra seps for four color process. I let the programs do the work for me. Dislike the price for separation studio but I think it works good I wish I could also do four color separations with it. Ultra seps is good with good price but you need to know photoshop to use it well.

  • @carlputney5803
    @carlputney5803 Před 6 lety

    Thanks for the vid Cam. I see that Blacksheep really leans towards Ultra seps. Can Ultra do spot color as well?

    Another great Video Cam. I think I prefer the old camera better. This new camera seems to make everything appear darker. Maybe you can mess with settings. Also when using comet white do you use two layers or 3 to get good opacity?

    Can you do or have you done a video that explains the 4 color or simulated 4 color process? How to print wet on wet without bitching the whole thing up, etc.

      We've been in business for 2 years, but I'm the first and only fulltime employee (owners son) , I started in January. Our average week has 2-3 orders in it, and it's obvious we're doing some marketing stuff incorrectly, but we'll get it right eventually.

  • @visionsscreenprinting3135

    I sep in Corel using SimpleSeps (I'm not affiliated, just a fan). Pretty decent software, and I'm more proficient with Coreldraw than Photoshop.

    • @ThePrintLife
      @ThePrintLife  Před 4 lety +1

    Hey Cam, question about the upcoming software! Our shop is probably about 40% screenprint and 60% everything else (signs/banners/promo products). Will the software have any features that can be applicable outside of shirts?

    • @ThePrintLife
      @ThePrintLife  Před 6 lety +3

      It will have a line item so you can manually add things like signs and banners, and you can create custom products, so that might be all you need, Embroidery will be the next big upgrade after launch, then I will work to make promo stuff easier. maybe even some integrations with Sage, and other promo manufactures. I honestly didn't put to much thought into that side of the business but as I'm writing this I'm getting more jazzed to add that in.

    • @pro3online581
      @pro3online581 Před 6 lety

      Super hyped for the launch of the software. If you're still looking for people to help beta-test, I'm an excellent candidate ;) I have a solid background in web development
