Hi. Useful video thank you.! What are the other gauges you have on your handlebar? I see a clock and something else. Mine does not have this, did you add them? Thanks again!
Thank you for the comment. The other is a gauge to read ambient temperature. I bought them from Amazon. They came as a set, but I use the clock much more.
@@gnjadventures thank you for the reply. I actually saw the exact set you mean while looking for clocks on Amazon! I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I have subscribed to your channel.
@@santospalma403 I have also subscribed to yours. Thank you very much. If there is any topic on the V-star 650 you would like to see, let me know and I can make one. Thanks again
@@gnjadventures thanks for the reply, I just replaced my bulb and finally the speedometer light is working. I would be interested in a review forsure I just bought a 2005 vstar 650 with 7k miles for $2,500 I’m loving it so far
The bulb is a #194. The manufacturer is Grand General and the bulb number/color are as follows. 86260 is amber 86262 is clear 86263 is green 86265 is red. The red is easier to see at night. Bought on Amazon
Thank you for the informative video, came in handy!
You’re welcome. I currently have an oil leak around the stator so a new and hopefully better video on that may be in the horizon.
Thanks buddy it’s all I need
You’re welcome. Be safe.
Thank you so much!
Thank You, not quite as timid about taking that apart now. Curious, why the red and not a white?
When I had the white bulb, it would distract my eyes at night. I always caught myself glancing at it. The red bulb doesn’t effect my eyes.
@@gnjadventureswondered if it was something like that. red is what is used for lighting if you're an astonomer so as not to dilate the eyes

Do you know is possible to connect a gear indicator to this motorcycle?
No I didn’t know that. How would you?
Perfect. Thanks👍👍

Helpful video thanks! So a #194 light bulb from the part store should work as well?
Thanks Chris. Yes, that will work. Please let me know if there is any other videos you would like to see. I am considering making a review of the 650.
