Why would he waste his time on this cheap podcast channel
Kantara(16cr),KGF (80cr) , KGF 2 (100cr) , 777Charlie (20cr) . Quality is important over the budget once the quality and story telling/concept rises budget does not matter footfall rises along with budget. Tapping 5 % of 140 cr is 7cr footfall.
I think kgf budget is around 40 crores.

Absolutely, and the motive to build a commercially successful story rather than putting your absolute best and letting the ppl decide. I remember feeling sad when 'Tumbad' didn't get much reach. But now the audience is much more sensible and hungry for authentic good content. It's's the best time for new writers out there too .

Main problem is that Bollywood is limited to its posh area. It seems like they have no clue what happens in the rural parts of their country and they are unbothered by it.
The directors who had gained popularity for being rooted also seem lost, after living in their closed circles.
Sanjay Mishra is one guy whose knowledge of India, vivid imagination and detailing excites me. If he wrote a screenplay, it would be a blast.

Even the guy who made swades and Lagaan came to make Mohanjodaro and Panipat. These movies look like as if made from a foreigners perspective. Lack of India in Bollywood movies is a concern. Most of the movies 'inspired from real events' are a spin on the events to suit their narrative and might I say 'Propoganda'.
Good rooted movies can be counted on finger tips.
Swades is also, what we NRIs can contribute in rural India, and not what happens in rural India. The POV of smaller towns and villages is missing.

When shown, it is often shown in bad light.
Generalisation is a must when the patterns are clear and frequent.

Bollywood completely uprooted from the rich culture of India and it’s beautiful people. Bollywood is trying to be too western and fails at that too, making it a weird “not here nor there”😅 A lot of ppl in and outside of India stopped watching bc of this. South indian industry knows the value of their origins and shines it for the world to see. Hats off to the Kannada movie industry for its recent blockbusters for celebrating the regular ppl of India, its history, and the culture.

Last point was good, you should not worry about how much a film is going to earn in crores. You should be focusing on selling more tickets money will come automatically. The number of tickets sold nowadays is very less, but due to rise in ticket prices, movies easily cross 100 cr. But now audience is appreciating good content and not watching anything like recently released movie cirkus

1. Strong single line story 2. Good script.3 interesting screenplay 4.punching dialogue 5.use of anti climax and climax. 6 link it mass 7. Cultural rich 8. Different Camera work on paper 9.minute to minutes work on paper.10 paper work on scenes.
When film come for shooting There will 25% deviation from paper work but if paper work is good this deviation will alway for good.

Completely disagree with him on the budget part. Kantara a movie made in just a budget of 16 cr, made 25X returns. It's about authenticity and story.
If you want to get influenced by west movies for almost everything and when you just wanna make cringe films with tumhara naach gaana, then 1000cr movie will almost not work.

I am not here to compare, but Budget is not the only thing you need @Roght SIr. If you look at other Indian films did a really good job and got a good return with a big budget also. Bahubali, RRR, and the list are on. All movies got a good return. I think you need to work on Color correction and VFX. All your movie looks very colorful and lack composition and Look very unrealistic. I don't know how much this comment means to you but try this, I think this will work. However, I am a big fan of your movie, especially the Golmaal series (First two parts.). 😀
