You didn't mention the Hylian Loach in OoT. That quest was so rare that some people thought it was a hoax. I was never able to do it myself but I did find the sinking lure.
There's a secret quest in home island on Skyward Sword where you Have to found Girl who's with kind devil like monster with Place under The island
@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 I did that quest one time, thought it was a stupid waist of time, and never did it again. LOL
Monster Cake quest.
@@ecwdude17 I literally just did that quest like five minutes ago! 😝
For the special delivery side quest in Botw, the young zora & the adult man are actually pen pals in the Japanese version instead of their relationship being romantic.
It was a translation error
Not much of an “error” if they decide to release the game like that instead of fixing it.
I like it better, its not creepy because she is actually older than him and he's not so into it when he meets her, it's more innocent than people see it imo.
@@superluigi8539 Yeah, Zoras can become a lot older than people. And she is older than he is. But oh well, you know how it is these days. People are shallow and if you date a small woman you're automatically a pedophile.
@@Puppet007 No Error was in Zelda 2 :P
the finley quest is a perfect example of someone ignoring context in translation. the japanese version is so much less creepy.
Can you give more detail on this? I'm curious what the translation error was.
@@mike1024.basically, they became friends in the Japanese version, he was just surprised she was so little.
In English however, they “date” despite her being little she’s “older then she looks”; comes off as creepy
@@joshie3 Oh I gotcha. I never thought anything of it because of the long lifespans of zoras. I figured small was still more or less an adult in her case.
I am so glad, that the german translation was less creepy than the American one.
@@fluffydruid3082
Ironic, seeing how F’ed up German fairy tales are.
If you're a Zelda fan and been playing the games regularly you would know that rooms with unlit torches yield treasure or complete puzzles by lightning them. That's how you're supposed to know what to do. Just like in Zora's domain in OoT when you light all the torches and a treasure chest appears in an alcove next to the item shop. If y'all actually played the games you make videos about you would know this.
I just love how they say “You Never Found” when so many of us found these…. 🤣
Special Delivery is less weird when you remember that the Zora age much slower than Hylians. Despite Finley being a child, she and Sasan are likely around the same age
In the Japanese version their relationship is absolutely not romantic, with Finley and Sasan being pen pals instead. The English translators missed a few points here.
I thought Finley mentioned that she was older.
She still has the body of a baby lol the age doesn’t matter at all if she’s biologically still a child
@@sackthebastard you make me realize that being a child zora is probably filled with heartbreaks in hyrule
Finley says she's already hit Zora Puberty, which puts her at about 100 years old. She just hasn't had her growth spurt yet.
It's very cool to see so many gaming channels are pumping out Zelda content in the lead up to ToTK. 🙏🏿
I actually really enjoyed the fishing in OoT. I got the gold scale without really trying.
For getting the Don Gero mask, I’m pretty sure a goron tells you he hid a rock sorloin in the chandelier. Also, I bever used the deku stick and just shot a fire arrow at the chandelier
Also in defense, lighting torches is a reasonable thing for a Zelda player to do, and destroying the chandelier is encouraged by the ramp. Also you can only light the torches after to baby stops crying, at which point you would have the Goron mask
you called the fishing boring?
thats one of the things i missed the most in the last games.
spent thousands of hours playing it in oot as a kid.
It is boring. It was a novelty back then, end of discussion.
I could barely ever get the fish to go for the bait. And then he’d let go. I fought the jerk for like 5 minutes straight once.
I really enjoyed the fishing in Ocarina of Time.
@@jarlwhiterun7478 nearly as repitiv as botw
You know most (If not all) can be found or hinted about if you TALKED TO NPCS!
I was obsessed with Kinstones and fusing them, so i never missed out on saving Gregel.
I didn't even know Gregal could die. Exploration and Kinstone matching are the main points of Minish Cap, so it's strange if most players missed it, I would think. I suspect whoever added that to this list is an impatient player focusing on dungeons.
Same. I even knew about him before the first dungeon cause his figurine was the first I have obtained in the gallery
Bro these dude quests are completely noticeable also the fishing mini game is one of the best because of its relaxation and the feeling when you catch the perfect fish
I'm amused that you called fishing boring. I've never cared for fishing minigames in other games. They always seem like a chore along the way to 100% the game. TP was doable enough without feeling like a chore though.
While I haven't done all of these, partially due to hardware limitations, I did know about all of them. I'm a bit puzzled as to why the Golden Scale is on here. Since things change after becoming an adult in Ocarina of Time, it is only natural to see if you can get something else after having won a heart piece as a child. With that in mind, how dare you call the Fishing Hole "boring". Most of these really aren't all that obscure since there are hints if you take the time to talk to everyone. For example, I'm pretty sure you eventually gain the ability to dowse for gratitude crystals so sooner or later it will point towards Peatrice.
For majoras mask I feel like the jumping mini game heart container or even the beaver race are much harder to find than the frog quest
I remember that doing Kafei's quest was really tough to do in Majora's Mask.
the cat quest in twilight princess always makes me go insane
Idk if it's just me, but the fishing part was totally cool, and i loved going fishing in my spare time!!
I've never 100 percented a Zelda game in my life. So finding a side quest I've never seen always puts me in awe.
The Majora's mask one was easy af. There are way more harder side quest in Majora's Mask lol
Way more harder?
Stay in school as long as possible.
@@jarlwhiterun7478 you probably dropped out to figure out this frog quest. 😂
I played botw a lil bit recently and stumbled on a couple of quest that were new to me. River bed reward and monster cake for Sunni in Tarry Town.
Was the Majora's Mask one really that well hidden? Because if so, I am proud that I managed to do that one without guides when I was a kid
A Goron tells you this so not really.
Yeah I found it on complete accident lol. I just wanted to break all the pots simply because it was there and see if anything happened if I broke all of them. I found that and thought it must be the food that Goron wanted since Gorons eat rocks. I didn’t even talk to the Goron that hints you to it.
Pretty sure I did the Frog Choir & Gregal quests, don't remember getting the light arrows though although the seashells reward is familiar
He gives you the light arrow after you go back to the house when you’re going to the palace of wind. When you first cure him, he gives you 100 shells
I think that one of the Gorons in Goron Village mentions that he hid his roast in the chandelier & that's how you find it but it's still a pretty obscure clue
Just for your information: Ocarina of Time is an action adventure, not an RPG. If you consider it to be an RPG because you're playing an elf that is saving the world then Football Manager is also an RPG because you're playing... a football manager.
folks cannot wait to stick the RPG label to damn near any and every single game these days, its a gaming buzzword nowadays. i guess it makes em' feel smart like "ohhh look at me, i know all the gaming terms and acronyms"
Zelda has been classed as an action rpg since the 80s
The Legend of Zelda games are awesome and near of My Heart, My favourite Zelda games are Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Wind waker, a Link between worlds and Breath of The wild of Corse. I cant wait The Legend of Zelda Tears of The Kingdom's coming THIS FREAKING MONTH, over 100 days Have Been going really fast. Zelda game's quests are cool defenietely i remember Skyward Sword quest where you Have to go cemetery and find secret rock then youll going secret Place under beedle's island to found a little Girl with kind devil like monster. 😮
My daughter is named after Finley from BotW. Also, the fishing game in Ocarina is lit 🔥. Peaceful, relaxing, and intense all in one.
Aside from that Lumberjack and BOTW girl most of these were kinda obvious. And about the Minish Cap, if you haven't yet Play this game. The Kinstones fusions make why this game is so charming. Hope to see some of the mechanics from the game returning the Gustjar, fusion capability and that sand claw.
I remember when you first enter the main building in the village when it shosws you around it eventually circles into a close up of the pot its in.
Getting Link a girlfriend that isn’t Zelda in Skyward Sword has always been funny to me. Fi’s comment on the whole thing is especially amusing.
I almost noped out at the first entry. Imagine saying that fishing minigames in RPGs are boring. Most people enjoy the fishing in Ocarina. It's arguably true that fishing is a great diversion in a lot of games. Sonic Frontier's fishing is fun, and doesn't feel tedious at all, for example. I feel like this was written by somebody reading about the games, and not someone who actually played them.
some of these i did know about and did and others i didn't only cause i never got far into the game
I'm glad they replaced Knuckle for Miiverse. I'm really glad that service is still... Running......
Just to let you know, in Skyward Sword, the gratitude crystal with Peatrice or her father is a lot easier to get than you imply. Peatrice warms up to Link as you use her services to store items you can’t hold throughout the game.
Now I believe that Peatrice developing romantic interest for Link won’t happen until you meet the demon Batreaux first because he tells Link about the gratitude crystals and that he wants to use them to become human. And after Link finds Kukiel, her mother is so grateful that Kukiel returns home that she produces 5 gratitude crystals of her own.
The underground cave thing in twilight princes was so missable
Dude said the fishing in OoT was boring smh, you lost all cred with that one.
If it leads to a piece of heart, I've gotten it since I like to 100% games. Hard to say how many were without any form of guide though.
you don't even need the golden scale for that first one. a video I watched about a month ago had him sink to the bottom with the iron boots, hookshot a box, and mid hookshot he paused and switched to regular boots and somehow that counted as a win.
That has to be a glitch.
The cat quest in twilight princess was so frustrating, I never found all the cats😅
Cool video.
Plenty of people liked the fishing pond in all titles that included one.
I had no idea about the tingle statues
When I first read the title I thought "I bet you I found them" being a big Zelda fanatic. Then Special Delivery came up and I'm like "nope. Never seen it."
3:00
I've been stuck on special delivery for the past 4 years now. Everytime I boot up botw after not playing for months my last save is at Vah Ruta and I always attempt this quest to no avail. Fuck this quest
What kind reward......yeah I'm glad I didn't finish it too
Majoras Mask does actually have a hint to help you find the rock sirloin
I've no idea what all the fuss is about the Zonai is in Breath of the Wild as I never came across any reference to them 🤷🏻♂️
ok but i did own that version of link to the past, how tf am i ever supposed to discover that, i never would've known that was even a thing
In Majoras mask you learn about the food if you talk to some of the gorons
I'm really interested in this video and if I did find the quest I'm going to say I found it
good video
Huh I knew saving the old man from the ghost I didn’t know later he give you light arrows
I did do that frog mission to get the frog mask I know how to get every single mask in that game that's how you get the ultimate mass will you transform
I bought the guide books that tell you all the secrets so most of these I already read about
I completed the frog choir quest in majoras mask without a guide when I was like 7 or 8 😅 how I did it I’ll never know
The only one of these I did was the Twilight Princess one, but only because I 100% completed it on the Wii.
FYI, the Finley quest has COMPLETLY different connotations in the original Japanese!
(at around 4:26 mark) "rescuing ImpaZ"? what the hell? i guess the original text had something like "Impa's rescue" and the guy who read it decided to switch words without having any idea what they meant
Nope, you rescue a character named Impaz in Twilight Princess
@@johnnyreynolds9636 my bad, how could i forget... haven't played that one for years.
Fun fact, in ocarina of time you can get the lab piece of heart by using the hook shot when you have the iron boots on and then taking them off before the hook shot clings onto the crate the man will think you dove with the golden scale, and give you the heart piece
"give you the hard piece" 😂
@@n1nj4l1nk What are you talking about
@@majesticespeon3126 very childish, you know exactly what I'm on about. You could have just laughed about your typo with me then moved on with your life but you decided to pretend it never happened. Pathetic.
Do NOT talk shit on the Fishing Mini Game in Ocarina of Time! lol I spent countless wonderful hours at that pond in my youth.
BORING??? how dare you? Oot fishing was one of the best parts.
I was out when he talked shit about fishing!!! Bro, that shit was awesome when this game came out.
I found special delivery on my first playthrough
To be honest.. didnt consider the Golden Scale side quest to be... hidden :P
Today’s my birthday🎉🥳🎈🎂
Happy birthday 🎉
Hbd mate
It’s my birthday as well haha Happy Birthday! 🎉
Happy birthday 🎉
Happy birthday 🥳🥳🥳
i got all the quests except for ones that require multiplayer or extra accessories!
The Tingle Statue quest doesn't require extra accessories in the Wii U version. I don't think this works in the original.
@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 I still never could do the tingle statues and stuff or at least I do not remember
@@kennycarter5682 You have to know where the statues are hidden and it does require going back to dungeons you already visited. I needed a guide for that.
@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 indeed some quests in games require a guide. no regular person can complete said quests without a guide., tunic is one example of a game that has guide required stuff.
The only ones I never got was the riddle quest due because of the obvious reasons and breath of the wild since I never played that game
You really missed out on a fantastic game.
Kinstones where the worst and most tedious side quest in all of Zelda
Well no wonder I never found The Riddle Quest. You need another player for that.
3:45 Totally not creepy.
5:50 The Mirror Shield quest is pointless because by the time you get it the game is already over.
I totally confessed my love to Peatrice but I did look into what happens if you didn't.
I never did Knuckle's Quest on GameCube but I did do it on the Wii U. The Tingle Tuner is apparently not required to do this. You do need to know where the Tingle statues are hidden which I totally had to look up.
With the exception of the Riddle Quest and to some extent the Knuckle's Quest I did all of these.
The game even references how hard the Knuckle's Quest is.
The Gamecube version considers the statue gallery to be complete without even finding Knuckle.
The remake does not, commenting that Knuckle was not happy about the original requirements.
However, the remake does not have a method of detecting the hidden golden tingle statue chests thus requiring one to find a tingle bottle with a knuckle photo or looking up the locations of the chests and using a bomb at the same location.
I knew about all of these except for the botw 1
*Laughs in 100% completion of every Zelda game*
PSA anyone playing Minish Cap: Gregal’s quest is missable at some point… I learned that the hard way. I hate being punished for not wanting to find information online. I’m glad missable events are rare in games these days.
Pretty sure I got the Golden Scale & fishing in Ocarina of Time is far from boring
Pretty sure that zora is at least 50 years old in human years.
Well, now I'm pissed. Three side quests I missed out entirely...
How do you get the blue hearts in Twilight princess
You had to use the Ganondorf Amiibo it doubles the damage you take and if you were playing in Hero Mode it would 4x the damage you take
I’ve been through all of them.
...did he dead-ass call the OOT fishing minigame "boring"?
Ya know....
I'd be the guy who says "Nice clickbait"
_But I did indeed click._
you have no idea how much of a nerd i was because i found all of these ( except the lttp spin attack ) thinking they were common knowledge ; 😂😂😂😂
1:10 you did not just say the fishing mini game is boring?!
The golden scale is easy once you learn the trick(I'll let you get it yourself)😂
I didn't know if one secret mission
Finley says that she's a grown woman but hasn't had her growth spurt.
Zora lifespans is different compared to hylian and human
Did he just call the fishing mini game in OoT? 🤨
Tf? Fishing was amazing back in the day
Are you seriously trying to tell me that people never got? The golden scale? That quest was not hidden and the fishing game was definitely not boring
Idk how I knew. I just did them lol
I just kept going to the item girl to see if her flirtying changed
Well... i guess im a nerd because ive done all of these 😅😂
i have literally done more than half of these
they are NOT HIDDEN, do ure research
No you did not get me on that one I can always get the frog mask yes and I collected all of the frogs I think you get a heart I did this all without looking up a guide yep I already know where the food is at
you lost me when you trashed fishing
If a quest gives a heart container or other tangible reward... then obviously people will have found them -__-
Wait did they just say that fishing is boring?
Zora age much slower than humans, for all you know shes twice his age
It's starting to get hilarious how every CZcamsr playing GBA games leaves the emulator's default frame-skip turned on. These games are 60 fps, not 15!
I like listening to videos like this as I drive or do other things, but god the loud, irritating sound effects you guys insist on putting in between speaking drives me insane.
