Sometime ago we went to Disneyland (Anaheim) on Christmas Day. Never again. Super crowded, LONG line wait times; hundreds of families were going as Christmas gifts to their families and it was jammed! I'd say going in January would be a better choice for more fun. You and your Dad will have a great time together, especially riding the TRAIN!! Toot-toot!

If you get a chance, try the family suites at all star music. Would be nice for the channel to see for those that may be unaware. They are about double the price of standard rooms. Stayed in one years ago, like 2017, but they have been renovated recently.
