Celebration parking problems is 1 of the reasons I'm not buying a house in celebration. Too much traffic from tourists and bad parking. Sooner or later celebration really needs to consider making celebration a gated community. There's no reason residents should be hassled over parking because celebration won't regulate who comes in and out of our community
@TheDailyWoo a parking garage would def fix a lotnof the parking g issues. Traffic not so much. But it would be a start. But I'm not sure that's something celebration wants to do as it doesn't allign with the areas esthetic.

Maintenance responsibilities in the community primarily fall under the purview of the following three entities; CROA (Celebration Residential Owners Association), CCDD (Celebration Community Development District) and ECDD (Enterprise Community Development District).

The sign for the electric vehicle park definitely needs some more clarity. Couldnt imagine an electric hummer making sense in that parking spot. Hopefully you can be the start to solving the issue.

After some research, the architecture of Celebration is Postmodern and neotraditional. Basically meaning it's a mix of caribbean, googie, arts and crafts (of the early 1900s and mainly in the homes) with a little bit of deco and a lot of mid-century modern. At any rate, it's all a fairly new mix and is rolled into the term "postmodern" whatever that means... LOL At any rate, Celebration is beautiful!
Celebration is so nice, in 2021 I stayed at a hotel near by for a festival it was so nice and one of my Aunts showed me around a bit and explained to me that it is similar to Wisteria Lane like in Desperate housewives. It's interesting that it is not a gated community, unless I am mistaken. Beautiful town.

It's the wording of that sign that is the problem. They need to change that to Electric golf cart parking only. The EV car owners are going to ignore the fact that those spaces are marked for small EV carts. I would bring that up to the association for clarification.
They also need to clearly mark out the parking spots with a maximum size. If someone takes two spots they're double parking and subject to being towed, or at least fined.

Hello Mr Woo. I also had the Cuisinart air fry oven. I used it a lot up in New York State. I LOVED IT! I also found out the chefs like it, because the inside of it has the silver finish. They don’t like when the inside is a dark color or if it’s ceramic, they say it’s better for you to have the silver inside. I just wish it was a little bit wider. we do enjoy your channel. We are learning a lot about the area we recently moved into.

FYI. New retail space doesn't have interior walls or pour the floors so they can run under slab electric and plumbing and build out the space for the eventual tenant's specific needs.
May I suggest keeping a beach towel in the "trunk" of your EV. Will help keep things like groceries from sliding around. You might need to wrap something fragile. You might just need a towel for one reason or another, but with the amount of trips you make to Publix and other places, it will come in handy and not take up much room.

I can't take credit for the towel idea, my dad's cousin has an EV that she was showing us once and she had just a beach towel in the back, so I jokingly asked her if she takes the car to the beach (she lives nowhere near any water). Then she started listing all of the times she has used it, including as a towel to sit down on in a park (not sure that Mr the Woo does that often). She also said it cleaned a spill once, keeps stuff from moving, and once she used it when the seats got too hot in the sun. If he got something fragile from a store, it would come in handy for sure!

Adam, I'm a resident of celebration your vehicle Gem2 is defined as a Low Speed Vehicle, and must comply with vehicle standards of driving on the road,, which grants you the privilege of driving on roads under 35 mph the law your referencing applies to Golf Carts (a LSV may look like a golf cart but into), "316.2126(e) Golf carts and utility vehicles may operate on sidewalks adjacent to state highways only if such golf carts and utility vehicles yield to pedestrians and if the sidewalks are at least 5 feet wide." Celebration blvd is not a is not adjacent to a state highway (192 is a state highway), and a LSV is not a golf cart. You driving on celebration Blvd is sidewalk is dangerous to students who walk to and from school. It's the equivalent to you driving a car on the sidewalk. It's been long known here you can't drive a LSV from the library to the high school Just don't want to see you get in trouble, so thought I would share.

But Just figured I mention it as celebration blvd gets brought up a lot, it's kinda a hot topic in celebration like pickle ball courts lol. Hi Adam, Phase 2 starts at the dead end. The homes still under construction are part of phase 1. And I’ve been told their will be a phase 4 connecting to the highway. Also, leases have been signed for a coffee shop and a Mexican restaurant.
That is perfect weather i hope it stays that way for when we head back to complete the move in for our new place we found one when we were down over the last 12 days
That new development looks like a cool spot, but I still do not understand why they keep building so many developments with no coffee shops, no retail, no infrastructure for housing and roads. I don’t wanna have to drive everywhere to go get a cuppa coffee and go to the gym or yoga studio. Go go to local restaurants. People need to be able to walk out of their house or get on a bike get in the golf cart and just enjoy their neighborhood. As someone who has a real estate license, in the state of Florida it’s so irritating. Because I don’t want to sell property to anyone that’s way out in suburbia, I feel like I’m personally contributing to the problem at that point. Maybe that’s somebody’s thing but I wish I could move to the villages but I’m not old enough lol I wish they had more communities like the villages, one with the younger demographic. Not a big veggie guy but love some good air fried or steamed veggies! Way to try to stick to eating healthy at home. On days that you work out and walk on the treadmill make sure you are eating protein! Get some chicken breast put then in the air fryer with whatever seasoning you want and it help keep you full while giving you the nutrients you need to help loose weight. Have you noticed any weight loss yet?
Nice video today. While there is a lot of art deco architecture in Celebration, I would say that new Publix is more Mid-Century Modern, like late 50s/early 60s style. I've been to it and I think it's a really cool style. I like the way Celebration has many different architectural styles from past eras.
Aside from parking, Celebration seems to be a well designed community. I wonder if they give much thought to parking? Interestingly, it’s not just lots that need improvements, the EV signs need clarification too. Leaving too much up for interpretation- and possible towing.

I think his GEM is a NEV, a neighborhood electric vehicle.

I don't know how common cloth bags are there. He could keep a few in the back of his EV and his car to use if he happens to decide to go to the store.

Don’t use Olive Oil in your air fryer, it can create a lot of smoke. We now use avocado oil, which is extremely healthy.

Hi Adam, Phase 2 starts at the dead end. The homes still under construction are part of phase 1. And I’ve been told their will be a phase 4 connecting to the highway. Also, leases have been signed for a coffee shop and a Mexican restaurant.
Coffee for the Soul and Tacos De Andrés will be the two new businesses.
I was also told there will be another boardwalk in Phase 2 that will connect to the Artisan Park boardwalk.

That new development looks like a cool spot, but I still do not understand why they keep building so many developments with no coffee shops, no retail, no infrastructure for housing and roads. I don’t wanna have to drive everywhere to go get a cuppa coffee and go to the gym or yoga studio. Go go to local restaurants. People need to be able to walk out of their house or get on a bike get in the golf cart and just enjoy their neighborhood. As someone who has a real estate license, in the state of Florida it’s so irritating. Because I don’t want to sell property to anyone that’s way out in suburbia, I feel like I’m personally contributing to the problem at that point. Maybe that’s somebody’s thing but I wish I could move to the villages but I’m not old enough lol I wish they had more communities like the villages, one with the younger demographic. Thanks for showing us around.
Island village is a great area but with only one way in and out could end up being a mess. I’d assume they have plans for another entrance / exit

Not a big veggie guy but love some good air fried or steamed veggies! Way to try to stick to eating healthy at home. On days that you work out and walk on the treadmill make sure you are eating protein! Get some chicken breast put then in the air fryer with whatever seasoning you want and it help keep you full while giving you the nutrients you need to help loose weight.

Nice video today. While there is a lot of art deco architecture in Celebration, I would say that new Publix is more Mid-Century Modern, like late 50s/early 60s style. I've been to it and I think it's a really cool style. I like the way Celebration has many different architectural styles from past eras.
Aside from parking, Celebration seems to be a well designed community. I wonder if they give much thought to parking? Interestingly, it’s not just lots that need improvements, the EV signs need clarification too. Leaving too much up for interpretation- and possible towing.
