Hi this is Rolf - did trail magic with Steve at 8:20. So great to watch your videos of your experience! I’m planning to hike the JMT this summer. As Evan puts it, thru hiking is “a different kind of joy.” You can just drive up and see many of the things we see, but it’s just such a different, profound experience to hike through it. 90+ degree temps are precisely why I delayed my trip to Colorado this year until late September and early October. For me at 70 the combination of heat and elevation are just too brutal. After catching up with Evan's vids it's good to see you pressed on through the heat, bugs and elevation.

I think you need a hat (but I'm imagining you should cut a hole in the hat to keep your dreads up in a bun hahaha) , if you had a headache and were nauseous it was probably from too much sun...anyways nice video good luck with the rest of the hike :D
I use 8 hour tylenol. It it OTC and marketed for arthritis. I prefer it to advil. Alleve lasts 12 hours but that's an NSAID like advill so not good for you. God bless you for donating a kidney.
