This is super helpful! I’ve pinned it so other folks can see it when they stop by for the video. Thank you!
This is excellent. Much appreciated. Subscribed.

Thank you, Dave!
What a godsend. Thanks brother.
Absolutely! Glad you found it helpful!
Thanks for putting out this video for all of us future CT thru hikers. It was very helpful. This is my second time watching it and willn't be my last.
Thank you, Eric! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you as your plan your adventure!
Thank you so so much for this. This is the best description of options I've seen. This makes me feel so much more comfortable. It's so cool of you to hand out your knowledge so freely, I really can't say thank you enough.
I'm really grateful for this comment, Daniel, and I am glad the video made you feel more comfortable--that's the whole channel's goal (Outside Comfort Zone and all that). Let me know if I can help you in any way as you set out on your trip!
I've never made notes from a CZcams video but this is the first. Thank you for your time to make this video
Absolutely, Anthony! Let me know if I can help in any way as you move forward with your planning!
Super helpful, thank you!
Thank you, Amy! Let me know if I can help in any way as you plan your adventure!
This is a great resource!! Thank you!
I had the impression that the Monarch Store/Gift shop had some hiker foods available, maybe not much, but more than candy. So, I am glad to hear your report.
Glad to hear it was helpful, Rose! I really like the Monarch Gift Shop, and I am told that they are under new ownership. The new owners are, I'm told, hoping to make the shop even more hiker-friendly this year. Here's hoping!
Thia is fantastic! Thank you for putting this together! Very helpful!
Glad to hear it! Please lemme know if there’s anything I can do to help as you plan your trip!
Thanks for sharing
Thank you, Naomi!
Superb review and recommendations. I’ll use many of those this coming August. And yes, Creede is a very cute town! I lived there in grade school. Dad was the Superintendent of the little log school at the time. Those years hold my happiest childhood memories. I might have a double zero there.
This is great to hear, Ruth! I would love to hear more about your experience and knowledge of Creede. Hopefully we can cross paths soon!
Thank you for putting this together. This information is extremely useful in planning out future trips. Thank you for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! Let me know if I can help in the future!
Thank you so much for this video. So informative.
Thank you! Happy to help!
Hey Snackbox! Awesome update video, thanks for sharing and being awesome!
Thank you, ATC&C! Hope you are doing well! Let's catch up soon!
Great video with so much helpful information, bro. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, MotM! Hope you are gearing up for some great summer adventures this year!
Thanks for this updated video Snackbox! I have watched both of your videos on this now and they are both super helpful for planning my upcoming thru hike this summer. I truly appreciate you and the work you put into your videos. Thank you!
So glad to hear it, Bravestone! I can't wait to hear how your adventure goes this summer, and let me know how I can help as you get ready!
Let’s goooooo been looking for a video like this since winter
So glad to hear it! Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help as you get ready for your trip!
brilliant thanks! Back on at Monarch this summer!
Glad to hear it! I can't wait to hear how much you love the next stretches of the trail!
Thank you for making this video, it’s very helpful. You may consider having the volume of the background music lower in the future. It became distracting and sometimes even difficult to hear what you were saying. Thanks again!
👍
Your info on the CT has gotta be the best on CZcams.
It’s the Molas Lake Campground. It’s the only campground near the pass so I suppose the name really doesn’t matter.🤷♂️
Thank you, Hashtag! I was just talking with Patti today about how amped I am to see your LSHT videos when they come out. We've both been really enjoying your videos lately because they are the calm we need during the hectic baby days, haha!
@@OutsideComfortZone ❤️I’m pretty pumped about the LSHT. I’ll start uploading the videos after I finish the trail.✌️
@@tangenttrailsLone Star Hiking Trail?
@@MoeBergOSS That’s correct.🙂
SnackBox is the go to information destination for all things on the CT!!! If you're looking for info on how best to route this trail look no further! Great job bud! 👏 But you look weird with no beard so grow it back ASAP!!!
Thank you, Fireball! I will see what I can do about getting a beard up and running for our J-Tree adventure in a few weeks!
@@OutsideComfortZone noice. Just don't shave for 3 days and you'll be looking like Forrest Gump in his running days
Hello! Thanks for the video. My wife and daughter are going to meet me somewhere on the trail for a zero and a resupply. If you were to pick ONE place on the trail where you would take the help the most where would it be? I was possibly thinking for a ride into Salida?
That's a great question. I think the Salida trip is probably a good meetup place for a ride and zero. If not there, Spring Creek Pass would be great to get a ride down to Lake City, one of my favorite places on the trail. Both are great options. It's also going to really help you boost your spirits when you have a tough day to know that your family will be there somewhere along the way. Hope this helps!
Nice tips, thank you!
Do you think you’ll get back out this summer? Or will your wonderful life changes keep you closer to home for a while?
Thank you, MC! I am hoping to do a hike in the Sierra this summer, and we are planning to take little dude on his first camping trip sometime in early spring. It'll be a great year! How about you? Any big adventures planned?
@@OutsideComfortZone I’m continuing my section hike of the CT. Starting up again near Mt Princeton Hot Springs and going as far as possible. At least 100 miles more, maybe the rest if all goes well. Just waiting for the snow to clear! BTW we met up on the Ten Mile ridge and you took drone footage. I’m Lin aka Elderberry. Happy hiking!
@@maubeecat2910 ELDERBERRY! I am so glad to hear from you again! I can't wait to hear how the next stretch of the trail goes for you! Let me know how I can help as you get ready, and don't hesitate to keep me posted on all your preparation!
So…. When are you going to take me on the Colorado Trail?? 😉😉
Ready when you are, Tridudy!
@@OutsideComfortZone I would sooo love to do this. I also want my marriage to survive my stupid decisions. 🤦♂️🤷♂️🤣 (Between you and me, I think we can figure it out! Shhh!)
I am getting to Denver on Oct 21st and I am going to hike to Durango. Is there anything you think I need to know?
That will be a stellar adventure. Be ready for lots of deep snow. It can be done so just remember to be safe. Have fun!
Stop making these videos. It makes us want to do another thru hike of the CT 🤣🤣🤣 See ya out there, Snackbox.
I think you two need to do another through hike in 2024 for the CT's 50th!
