Opponents: Ben (Rebels) V Wes (Republic)
A brand new season means some tweaks to the rules.
Format:
Each pilot has 10 points to build a list.
Lists can contain either; 2 small base ships (No duplicate chassis) or 1 small and 1 medium based ship, from the same faction.
Ion Cannot Turrets are not allowed.
Games will last 25 minutes.
The winner will earn 3 points.
A bonus point will be scored for each ship destroyed during the game.
In the event of a draw each player scores 1 point.
The game is played on a standard 3x3 mat with the starting board space reduced by Range 1 around all edges.
6 Obstacles are used and placed with the usual restrictions from the amended board edges.
Half points are in effect as per Chance Engagement rules.

Republic is so great for this format, so many firing arcs in every direction

Feel sorry for Ben there, but great flying by Wes also. GG, gentlemen.
Yeah the green dice, ouch. Both pilots flew well but Wes managed to land the hits when it counted.
What i have learned from playing a lot of ARCs.
Assume all your green dice roll only blanks .
This is why ships with more green dice are a trap.
More green equals more pain

They really weren't playing fair.
Love the republic list, but hes leaving poibts on the table by taking custom Wolffe instead of any of the SoC Arcs. SoC Oddballnis actually pretty good, and not just for the extra shield.
We would need to check with Wes as he may not have the SOC pack, but Odd Ball could have been a really solid option.
