  • Finally some warmer weather, it has been a very cold spring and we are way behind on our projects. Luckily, we have help, Rachel & David were able to help clear out some of the wood or "beaver" piles along the driveway using the Woodland Mills WC88 and the Kubota MX5400. Check out our progress!

That chipper works really well! Do you folks have any horses? The chips would make great bedding for them! Admiring your property on this video, looks amazing! Take care, Jason.

Hi Jason, no horses just a dog ;-) Back at you in regards to the property, you live in a beautiful area!! Be safe, Ed

I have the same machine. Looks like your feeder keeps kicking out. You adjust that, Page 46 in your manual. A quick tweak there will save you a lot of messing around.

Thank you! I finally have it adjusted correctly, how do you like your chipper?

Good looking set up. I made a economic choice and went with a Land Pride chipper.... less features but handles my chore load. Yep.... set up just like you guys do, chips into trailer. Little Wonder Pro Vac SP...... Wife and I bought one 5 years ago for our leaf clean up...... made that task alot easier. Not cheap.... but works as advertised and is a huge time saver. As always thanks for your vids.

You can’t go wrong ever with a Land Pride implement…I have been so pleased with everything from them. I saw the Woodland Mills on a few vids and thought it would work much better than the smaller wood chipper that I was using. Dang, you aren’t kidding, that Wonder Pro Vac looks awesome but they sure don’t give them away 😆. However, that may be in my future… are you still a fan of that Vac?

@@UpNorthNybergs yes still a fan. Hard pull to start it. My wife can't start it. Similar large heavy guage flywheel to a chipper.... that makes the starting a hard pull. Always mentally tough buying niche eqiupment. Yes I'd buy it again if I had to.... hopefully not... lol. Wet leaves can bunch up and pack in the chute.... but they have to be real wet. Good planning and timing is our work around on that. Honda motor has been bullet proof..... so far. Lol. Spent years in the trades beating those motors up.... it'll be fine. As always thanks for the vids.

@@juleswinnfield826 good review of your experience! We get a lot of leaves and usually we like to get them cleaned up in the fall due to them bunching up and getting very wet. I agree with you on a niche tool, I have that asphalt crack filler that gets used a couple of times a year, but when I use it I am always happy to have it…I am surprised they don’t add and electric start, I watched a video from the manufacturer and it looked like quite a pull.
Also, thanks for your suggestions, I bought the last TSC “carry-all” a couple of weeks ago after your comment on how you use it. Now I need to build out some wood support and I’ll put it to work, thanks again and work safe, Ed

@@UpNorthNybergs You tube ch. Rockhill farm, I believe Brock is his name. I patterned my wood box build from the one he does a vid on. Many choices and variations out there. 4 inch casters (4) makes mine a breeze to connect and disconect from the 3 point. Thanks for your time and it's NOT SNOW SEASON...... yippeee!!!!!
