I enjoyed the look back and am hoping that many of your goals are met. I’ve particular interest in seeing more about your gasification boiler, the portable mill you intend to get, as well as your harvest of your wood resources. My goals are not so lofty, but having received my 4th pacemaker on the 4th, I’m hoping for energy and strength to accomplish a few things around my little bit of land. My best to you and yours

Happy New Year!! The interesting thing is that we are probably above average for this time of year, mainly due to 2 major storms producing a lot of snow. I don’t mind too much ;-)
Looking good, sounds good. Wife and I did a similar border around our barn as well with gravel. Used rail road ties to create a border around the barn then backfilled with gravel.
The R.R. ties also added visual dimension and the rustic look, also makes a nice hard edge to line trim. I have no idea on pricing today.... probably more than 5 years ago. Your shop looks great, wife and I recently heated our garage so we have half a work shop area..... lol. Half is better than none. As always thanks for you vids and time.

Isn’t it nice too have a heated workshop? No matter what the size…now Cathy is happy because the garage is so much more organized. I love my little workshop area, now to find the time to use it…stay safe my friend!
