    Very in-depth unboxing video Vince....liking it👍🏻. Think one of my most favorite features about the Team Yellow/Black SDS, the dust extraction being powered from tool battery w/o having to throw another battery on the dust extractor attachment. Pretty slick, not having to use multiple batteries on 1 tool. Also liked how you can easily setup the depth adjustment to where you want it, w/o playing around w/ multiple buttons/switches. Definitely interested in some further testing to see how it holds up over time & how it does “doing the jobs”.
    Cheers 😁
    Just thought, LOL, a #TTR w/ SDS rotary hammer drills. That’ll be interesting 🤣

    The clutch is the mechanism that keep the tool from jerking and spinning around. Also, the bit binding in the hole is caused by drilling into the concrete past the fluting on the bit. Great presentation.

    The flexvolt batteries are wired both ways, Series and Parallel. When using the battery in a 20v max tool the tool tells the battery I’m a 20v tool and you get more run time out of the battery because there are more cells in the battery. When you take it out and plug it into a 60v max tool the tool tells the battery I’m a 60v tool and the battery switches to the other wiring configuration allowing it to put out the full 60 volts

    How does this compare to the Dewalt DCH273?!?? Tons of reviews of the 273 but no comparison to the 263. The 263, which has more joules can make a large diameter drilling capability but higher vibration than the 273. Please do a side by side between these two, as they are the same price.

  • @tensazero
    @tensazero Před 5 lety +2

    DAM THAT'S SEXY!!! I WISH THEY WOULD MAKE A VERSION OF THE VAC TO FIT THE 1" DCH133B. I wouldn't care if it was 12v or 20V. You know, kinda like the "red" one. Even a cable to an intermediate connector between the battery port and the battery.
    On another note, the DCH133 can beat you to death. Particles go all over the place.
    Some of us don't think the man-bag vac is stylish.

    • @VCGConstruction
      @VCGConstruction  Před 5 lety

      No vac for that unit?

    • @tensazero
      @tensazero Před 5 lety

      @@VCGConstruction There's no "universal" attachable vac unit I know of from DeWalt. The other manufactures have a version. DeWalt's options are the man-bag vac, accordion attachment, or that yellow suction hose attachment.

    M18 1-1/8" SDS+ is 4.47 joules and 8.6m/s vibration FYI (in case you somehow didn't know - which would surprise me). It's also the best SDS+ Milwaukee offers IMO. Though that opinion is based a lot on specs as I've not handled every SDS+ Milwaukee offers. But I gotta say... As an admitted Milwaukee fanboy, as far as the main power tools are concerned, DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Makita all offer a tool capable enough that you could accomplish most jobs without the need to own more than one line of tools. A couple brands that have always made great tools that have quietly built up a product line offering that I've become more and more impressed by and interested in are Bosch with their 18V CORE line and the Metabo HPT Multivolt line with the capability of using either 36V batteries or their AC adapter - which is pretty appealing on larger tools like miter saws, etc. Hitachi has always made solid miter saws too. And in a pinch, you could even power a drill/impact driver/etc. with AC power should it be necessary. Pretty appealing for someone that wants to maybe take on more demanding DIY projects around the house. And their promos right now are nothing short of incredible (buy the hammerdrill kit and get a free impact driver, 3rd battery, AND AC adapter. Pretty great offer IMO). So I guess it looks like there's some serious competition in the powertool market... and that should only benefit us consumers

      This DeWalt will work for me for the amount of times i will need a SDS rotary hammer drill. Plus i already have the batteries for the dewalt.
      Again, watching the video i do like that dust collection that runs with the battery, that extra shock system on the handle and the bit adjustable button on the front handle.

    I believe the Osha regulations are made by calculating exposure over a duration of eight hours. If you’re just drilling a few holes real quick you’re nowhere near exceeding the exposure limit. If you’re drilling all day for the majority of the time then that’s a different story.
