- This is basically all of our Halo 2 videos combined, slightly trimmed for time. Two friends attempt to do the entire Master Chief Collection LASO while slowing growing to resent each other. Now even harder.

neural_physics Haha, no there’s enough to go around cause I struggled the most with CE. It’s just the physics and clunky gameplay that made it super difficult for me compared to Halo 2. Halo 2 feels so good to play, vehicles worked better, Arbiter missions you can use active camo to get through sticky situations, dual wielding helps with certain missions (I’m looking at you, Gravemind), and I don’t know what else to say lol. Just take your time with missions, always be on the look out for the snipers and you’ll be good. If they’re shooting continuously at a spot, flank them or wait until they stop shooting entirely. I didn’t die as much as I thought I would have lol

warriorofsunlight I literally explained why CE is more difficult to ME. I know everyone else thinks it’s easy (and it is) but the awful physics and how everything is floaty makes it very difficult for me to play.
The time skip at 10:54 after killing the elite is truly heartbreaking because it goes from 3 hours and 20 minutes to 6 hours and ten minutes. They spent over FOUR HOURS on the gondolas. (They started the ride at 2 hours into the mission)

At the end of Regret there's a little annotation that says the time included a long dinner break, so they didn't actually spend 7 hours on it thankfully lol
Bro the regret boss fight on legendary alone took me and my friend 6 hours. Granted I was laughing my ass off the whole time because I was genuinely losing my mind.

We used to call it the Mario death scream. Back when it was like impossible to get the IWHBYD skull in classic Halo 2 it was super rare. But since you can just turn the skull on now you hear it a lot more often. Pretty cool!

See this is why you watch the cutscenes, they tend to give you important information like that so stuff like what you did doesn't happen. To be fair though I think that would have happened anyway just because these guys seem like the kind of people to do that as stress relief.

How to get the Halo 2 Laso Experience without an Xbox, a TV, Halo 2, or electricity:
What you need: a box of toothpicks, a roll of duct tape, a hammer, a pair of needle nose pliers, and a bag of table salt.
1. Find a smooth, flat, dry surface, and flatten a piece of duct tape over it until it is completely stuck.
2. Wrap duct tape over the top of your head like a turban. This is a crucial step that will be important later on.
3. Insert 3 toothpicks under each finger nail, hammering each set of 3 in a horizontal line under each nail.
4. Using your new toothpick nails, pry the duct tape off of the flat surface and peel it off. This will be really difficult, you’ll need to shove your toothpicks under the tape and use leverage to pry it up. If you can’t get it right away, don’t worry. Eventually your blood will seep under the tape and make it come off easier.
5. Once the tape is off the wall, lay on the ground, in push-up position, with your fingers pointing perpendicular to the ground, and do 20 push-ups, only touching the ground with the tips of your toothpick fingers.
6. Use the pliers to remove the toothpicks. Your hands will likely be very wet with blood, so to dry them out, insert them into the bag of salt, which should suck up the moisture.
7. Finally, breathe a sigh of relief that your ordeal is over, only to realize that you still have a duct-tape turban on your head. Unravel the duct tape turban and behold your bald head.
8. The duct tape might have missed a spot, so get your pliers back out and pluck any remaining hair from your head.
NOTE: if at any point you made a mistake, did not follow the instructions exactly, hesitated, etc, you must reset to step one and repeat the steps from the start. Curtesy of the Iron Skull.

Every voice in your head will be screaming in constant blood-curdling agony. Everything you've ever known will slip away into the dark twisted hallways of high charity, and when the dust settles and the battle is won, you will emerge still a lesser man than you once were, with the only things to show for your indescribeable pain being the dark, endless chasm in your soul, barbarically covered and hidden by the Helioskrill armor. There is no god, no all-powerful deity to give you strength. There is no life after death. There is only a deep, terrible pain and at it's source, a figure with a beam rifle far off in the distance. This game will make you swear to all that is holy that there is no such thing as freedom or victory. The torment wrought by this experience will shake you to your core and you will know a pain beyond comprehension. There is no comparison to the horrid journey that must be fulfilled for the campaign to be beaten. May the lord have mercy on our souls.
