Even as a Tottenham fan myself, I was nervous to live life after Harry Kane. Thank goodness for Sonny and our new signing James Maddison has stepped up and scoring the goal Harry scored. But most importantly, Ange Postecoglou deserves most credit for the surprising great start.

If Tottenham were to beat Liverpool and they aren’t considered at least outside shot title contenders it is because nobody other than Manchester City are title contenders. The fixture list after Liverpool is particularly favorable for Tottenham to stay at the top of the table until facing City in December. From there it’s a January transfer window for one final push that will also be investment into next season’s campaign that will likely have European football as well.

There's no point gooners getting shirty about the Wenger comparison. He came in and totally changed every aspect of Arsenal. Regardless of what he won and what Ange may or may not win, the changes at Spurs are as big as those at Arsenal.
The style. The team spirit. The way the fans have re-bonded with the team. Everything about Spurs looks, feels, smells and tastes different to the last 5 years.

  • @amdistant5547

Comparing Ange to Wenger is ridiculous. The tactics and details involved in the game now is far superior to Wenger's days when all they had to do was beat Man Utd to win the title. The rest of the teams back in those days just made up the numbers to call it a league.

G'day, a little late with my contribution and found the hypothising interesting. Of course we all tend to have our own thoughts, opinions and ideas.
Mine are quite simple to say, but not so simple to achieve and that is: As a long time follower of Ange in Australia and at Celtic (I missed his time in Japan), Ange NEVER talks about losing or drawing a game. Some say it's an achievement for a visiting team to draw at an away game, for example.
Not Ange. He has only one objective. You guessed it - it's to WIN!
      His teams Never Stop!
Just do some research about Ange at the Socceroos, South Melbourne, Brisbane Roar, Celtic, and Yokohame F Mariners.
Except for the Socceroos, he was a SERIAL WINNER!!!
Please don't tell me "Oh, but our Premier League is way tougher than anything Ange has played/coached in." So?
