  • This is a step by step showing how you can create your own basic airsoft mosfet. This mosfet is a basic mosfet that protects your trigger contacts, and prevents any burns on the contacts.
    In this guide i go all the way and add plugs so that it can be removed from the gun and replaced quickly. (Personaly I almost always have an extra one with me on game days) But if you want you can just wire it directly into the gun's Electric system.

    You explain EVVVERYHING which I like and the only thing that's hard is the lighting and the video quality. You make great videos and explain a lot thank you.

      +AirsoftTech.dk it seemed like this is the type that will just go in between the battery and connector right? kind of like some of the drop in mosfets you can buy now? I just dont know where the fifth White wire connects to.

    Just so that all others know what wire you are talking about: "If you go to the time 18:40" where I show the final mosfet, theres a small wire that stick's out .... That wire will be going to the trigger contacts :-) To install the mosfet you will have to open the gearbox and move some wires arround ... At the time 19:05 the image shows the wire diagram ... 20:10 in the video an image shows the install more clearly ... And 19:53 you can see 3 wires going out of the gearbox ... the small wire goes to the small wire you are talking about. :-) Hope it makes it clear that you need to open the gearbox to install the mosfet ....

      +lolfolcopter you are verry welcome... Would you be interested in me making a video showing how you could make a drop in mosfet? ... It's allot more complicated but it can be done ...

    Thanks for the video most of the other tutorials ive seen want me to solder the mosfet directly into the gun which I dont want to do. my only question is where does the extra wire go? the one that is not going into either of the plugs?

    Hi i have only this two mosfets which is better ? Mosfet N-Channel 500V 14A - IRFP450PBF / Mosfet N-Channel 100V 33A - IRF540N

    • @AirsofttechDk
      @AirsofttechDk  Před 6 lety

      Ehhh .... Well sorry to say but: None of them are good enough .... The IRFP450 is only good for max 14 amp's but even standard 300fps guns draw's 15-20 amp's ... The IRF540 is the best of the two, and it can still only handle max 20 amp's ....
      So the best of them is the IRF540, but my gues is that it will work for like 5-10 semi shot's then it will run hot at break (Go full auto and can't shut off)...
      So realy: Go search for a better one ....

    Next example of spider-electronic master. Wtf is that? Is it safe enought? It's a better WAY to use a fuckin cheap PCB and solder everything solid into right place.

    • @AirsofttechDk
      @AirsofttechDk  Před 8 lety

      +mastrojani This is a Mosfet "design" for airsoft gun's ONLY! And this way of making it is safe as long as you ONLY use it in airsoft gun's! Airsoft guns are low power devices that draw very little energy from batteries, so personal safety is not an issue! And as long as you insolate the electric's there's no risk of damaging the gun. I agree that it would be easy and cheap to use a PCB but the PCB is not crusial for it to work. And the only benefit of using a PCB in this application is makin it more durable. So using a PCB or not is really up to your own personal preference...

    • @AirsofttechDk
      @AirsofttechDk  Před 8 lety

      +mastrojani And please in the future, use a more polite tone. I will let your comment go this time because your point about using PCB is a concern that others may share. But if you don't keep a polite tone I will remove your comments. Thank you.

      +AirsoftTech.dk If you are very unlucky and the electric's short out what happens is exactly the same as when other parts of your gun short's out. The battery dies ... That's it ...And other short's in airsoft guns are more frequent than what can happen with this design.... Because wires inside the gun are run through un insulated metal holes drilled with sharp edges and no rubber plugs... So you should be more worried about the gun design than with the mosfet design....
