  • As you could see in the last video the mosfet has been made in the first "Final version". So now it's ready to make :-) If you want to make your own "ASCU" you can download the PCB files and everything on my projects page...
In this video I will be showing you how to program the mosfet, and demonstrate the features of the mosfet :-)
In the next couple of videos I will be adding more and more features, so if you have made your own version you will be able to upgrade your mosfet each time I make new features.

Awesome project, very detailed videos and tutorials, great job on this. There´s only one part that i didn´t understand: how do you integrate the existing fire selector mechanism with the arduino? Do you use a selector plate with a metal tab or is there another way? This is an excelent tutorial series nonetheless, the best i have found on youtube actually. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Brazil.

on the projects page theres a description on how to wire it up ... but basicly it can be wired up like any other mosfet :-) ... airsofttech.dk/Guides.cshtml?Page=BurstModeMosfet

hey I'm fan of your work :) is ti possible to make modification to your burst mosfet unit to add another mosfet for active break feature. Also would it be possible through code to make your mosfet shoot semi only for dmr builds?

In the next mosfet video (There may be some other project videos uploaded while I make the next mosfet one) I will start to go into details with the code. In the code I will add some features: Auto Programming timing values, Semi only Lock, Battery protection, Switching between full auto and burst.. And maby more ....
Active breaking is not someting I have on the plan for the next couple of videos, but if you want i can put it on the "To doo" list :-)
If you have a specific wish (Like "Add the dmr semi lock feature first") please just tell me and i will prioritize those features :-)

Also I'm thinking of putting together a "DIY airsoft mosfet KIT" where you can buy a set of all the components needed for the mosfet in one package .... Would that be of interest ???

Hello Friend. I did a project similar to yours, but I did not use the analog ports of the arduino, but the INPUT_PULLUP so my mosfet is an IRF4110 with a 2.2k ohm resistor and another 22ohm resistor. The point is that my battery is a lipo f and 7.2v and 1100 mah and unfortunately only the battery only provides enough power for the engine to turn if the wiring is short enough that the mosfet is very close to the engine and the battery (this means that doesn't fit in an m4). I would like to know if you can help me, because the battery normally powers the engine when I don't use the mosfet with the arduino. I don't know much about electronics, so my theory is that the 2.2k resistor connected to the IRF 4110 terminals can be consuming battery power, because I believe that the fault of this excessive consumption is not due to the Nano arduino. another thing i forgot to mention is that the battery is running out twice as long. I'm sure the problem is not in the Arduino code, as I have already done tests to determine this. please, can you help me?
PS: Sorry me my bad english. Im Brazilian and i use google Translator for this message.
