    I made two of these to put in freezer, we had one for tea tonight. It was so tasty, my family loved it. Will definitely make them again. They were so easy to prepare, and all I had to do tonight was pop in the oven and steam some veg! Perfect. Love your channel, looking forward to some more new ideas.

    I'm mesmerised by these videos, I've watched quite a few back-to-back now. It is such a fantastic concept, and excellently executed (so much attention to detail). The brand, the videos, the ideas and most importantly your personality is truly inspirational. It would be really useful for someone like me that is starting out with their own brand to know how you got started and got to where you are now, if you have a few spare minutes please write a blog post about that!!! Well done and I've no doubt you'll be on TV soon!

    Thanks for the video. Fish pie looks great. I found your channel last week and made the 10 frozen meat meals straight away. I made the Bride's Chicken as well, which was delicious, I have never heard of it before. I have always loved the idea of batch cooking so really enjoy your videos. Thanks again from another New Zealand viewer.

    This is one type of approach! I think i might prefer to make a Sauce,Poach the Fish,cook up some onions,Cel and Carrots,then the mash,add some cheese&Bake!

    I have never seen your videos beforehand it looks brilliant, but I thought you couldn't freeze double cream unless it was whipped? Also did you make up your mash yourself or buy it?

    Hi, please can you tell me if you use the frozen fish pie mixes you can get for the fish pie? I figure if it’s going in the freezer anyway it should be fine. Thanks!

    • @TheBatchLady
      @TheBatchLady  Před 4 lety +1

      no i always use fresh, you could use frozen but need to work extremely fast so it doesnt defrost as you make it into the pie and get it in the freezer. I would recommend the fresh always

    Hi, love these videos, just hopped over to your website. Also where did you get those measuring cups that look like giant spoons?

    • @TheBatchLady
      @TheBatchLady  Před 5 lety

      Oh I just replied to another comment giving you my website details, so glad you found it ( cool new site being worked on as we speak, should be out by christmas). The spoons are from Amazon from Kitchen Craft, colour works, they are brilliant as they measure well but work perfectly for portioning out too due to the shape. I use them daily. Thanks for watching very much appreciated.

    Great idea! I love fish pie. Can I ask was ur mash frozen when in the small batch and then do you re freeze it when u make the pie? Cheers from New Zealand !

    • @TheBatchLady
      @TheBatchLady  Před 5 lety

      the mash comes fresh from the supermarket here in the UK (not sure if you get ready made mash in NZ. I then freeze it once the pie is made. Hope that makes sense great to have an NZ follower

      Hi Barry and Prue, the ready packed fish pie mix we get in the UK is an equal mix of white fish, smoked white fish and salmon. The packs are about 340grams - I hope that helps! Happy batching

    Hi can I ask is the fish pie mix already frozen? I’m just looking at ordering one from Asda to give it a try but it’s a frozen bag, can it be frozen again after the pie is made? Does it need to be defrosted before cooking x

    • @TheBatchLady
      @TheBatchLady  Před rokem

      Best to buy fresh fish pie mix rather than frozen that way you aren't defrosting and then refreezing. You can cook straight from frozen! Hope that helps!
