    Hi. Just seen your video
    Cool car by the way..
    I am a professional detailer in the UK. We have mustangs over here
    A good tip to apply tyre shine is to get a small applicator sponge and spray your product on it, then wipe the treatment around your tyre wall.
    You get none on your alloy or paint work. Hope this is useful..

Is there any necessary or extra steps or do you have any recommendations I should do after for a better performance.

      Wby don't you wipe off the excess before you drive .. ?
      The Excess product residue gets sticky and then road gunk and brake dust sticks to it, and it will leave stains on your driveway. Wife or Mom would not be pleased! lol
      For excess product that collects in the tire grooves,
      ▶ *use an old T-shirt and wrap it over a Butler Brush* (they come with a plastic dust pan for $1 @ Dollar Tree) *and just rub it around the tire L to R, slowly, it absorbs the excess.* (or a dollar craft sponge paint brush if its just on the sides)
      I'd rather rub in and/or wipe off excess product than trust any spray and leave on.
      I'm just not that impatient, just don't trust Quick Products, prefer Premium Products.
      But that's just me, each to their own desire.

    Coverall contains silicone, like most tire dressings. Just a matter of time before the silicone destroys your tires and their built-in UV inhibitors, amd changes the structure of the rubber, losing its flexibikity and and color. You'll be inclined to just add more to temporarily darken the tires, but they will be hard has rocks under the shine. Just go walk around any used sports car dealership and have a look/feel on any tires more than 2 or 3 years old. Silicone is literally the worst thing you can put on your tires or interior/exterior trim.

    • @FJB8646
      @FJB8646 Před 7 měsíci

      That’s odd seeing as silicone is a great way to preserve rubber seals in doors and windows. I wonder what the difference is. Don’t get me wrong. I agree with you 100% but just curious why it’s good for rubber seals but not for rubber tires.

    • @nicholash8021
      @nicholash8021 Před 7 měsíci +2

      @@FJB8646 I was told by a chemist that the silicone breaks down the UV inhibitors (among other things), so you may not see an issue unit it's exposed to heat and sunlight. While I don't know the exact science, I can tell you only what I have seen to tires and dashes. Once you use it, you basically have to keep using it, and the only reason that helps is because you're keeping it constantly moisturized which helps the pliability.

    Hey man, just wanted to give an input on something I've noticed with your new wheels on the back. It looks like the lug nuts aren't lug-centric with your hub and the wheel. I've got some years of experience with tires/wheels, and I've actually put those exact wheels on a vehicle before. Most aftermarket rims require an aftermarket-style lugnut in order for the whole entire wheel to be hub centric whenever it's bolted on. I can see at 6:44 that it looks like you've used the same lugs that you got with the vehicle and just took one of the lugs out of the wheel lock box and threw it on there. I'd recommend seeing if they're actually fully flushed on the hub, because you put a lot of power to them, and it can actually vibrate and cause the lugs to become loose and eventually fall off, and that's the last thing I'd want to see (seen it before). Other than that, I love the videos man. Thanks a lot for them.

    Important to note about Cover All!
    It's not for sale in quite a few states due to VOC regulations. Make sure your state isn't on the list before trying to purchase. My state does not have it and it cannot be shipped.

    A good way to keep your wheels clean & have that brake dust wash right off is by adding a protective coat. I use Chemical Guys' Jetseal on my wheels.

    Just like with any aerosol tire shine, there will be over spray EVERYWHERE. You may not necessarily see it at first but if you catch the light at the proper angles you'll see oil overspray dots all over your paint and all over your wheels and they, like any other oil contaminates attract dust/dirt over time. They also inhibit any coating or protection you have on that given surface

    • @vvalasek

      Most people spray on applicator instead of directly spraying on tire

  • @Bray91
    @Bray91 Před 2 lety

    Gonna have to try that because even the meguiars insane tire shine foam i use still slings after letting it sit on my tires over night and also washes off after 1 wash. You need to get some slotted rotors and performance brake pads that will reduce your brake dust on your wheels.

    If you want to make tires pop even deeper, scrub the TIRES with BLEACH WHITE about 2-3 times until its not slimy and starts to foam up. Rinse well in between washes. Let tires dry till they look "charcoal gray". Then use COVER ALL... makes the black pop and gives a deeper dark gloss.

    I thought your car looked familiar to me, I live in Natchitoches, about 65 miles south of Y'all. I like the idea of it drying but I use tireshine on my SXS to help with cleaning after mud riding, if I spray the whole SXS it makes cleanup so much easier. Now what do you use on the dash just to clean it my old truck is nasty from living in my pasture so keeping it clean is hard since I don't have gravel or really any kinda road to my house I just cut across my pasture rain or shine it either is getting mud or something greenish ( you know what I mean here right💩 ) on it all the time

    The whole purpose of using soap is to create a barrier between the finish n the dirt so it can be wiped away clean. Using a rag to wipe off dirt from wet wheels will still scratch tf out of them. Always use soap. Wheel cleaner, rinse, then soap n wipe, rinse. I'm a Toyota certified master detailer and paint restoration so I kno what I'm talking about. We go through vigorous training to b certified n not everyone makes it

    Back in the early 80’s when I was in the Marine Corps I would go to my buddy who was in Comm and get a can of spray silicone which they used on their cables and spray it on my tires. No sling, no drip, repels water, mud, and dirt. It lasted for weeks. So get you a can of spray silicone and you’re done.
