覺得如懿傳中的皇后很矛盾！
在女兒面前老是提重男輕女的事，明明女兒也很孝順，可是當要和親的時候，又表現出很愛女兒，女兒不能遠嫁的態度，若是能如一一點會更好，疼女兒就疼到底，別老是說些重男輕女的話，看甄嬛傳都不會有這種場面，是兒是女都疼愛。
因為富察皇后最看重的是家族的榮耀吧
她都愛女兒的，但她必須要有兒子才能“光宗耀祖”，
古代認為要有兒子才是為家族好才代表好女人
其实这个皇后的形象塑造的非常好！皇后生于大族，从小封建式的教育决定了她的格局会很狭小，重男轻女的意识形态在出嫁之前就已经形成，因此她日后无论多么爱唯一的女儿，心里总有个矛盾的声音在说儿子更重要，这也决定了她在做皇后的时候永远无法摆脱丧子之痛，因为在她潜意识里只有儿子能延续她自己和家族的荣耀。不管是古代还是今天，这类“矛盾”的女人都不少，所以她的形象实际上众多这类女子的一个缩影罢了。

No matter what the Emperor says, I think he fell in love with his first wife. He did Ruyi, but he became obsessed with her. Ruyi had a mind and didn't just fall in line like first wife and that frustrated him.
The Emperor didn't love his first wife (Fuchat Empress) as much as he love Ruyi. The Empress to the Emperor is a "Formal ,Obedient, Most Empress Mode" wife to him which can give him the Emperor supremacy. He do love her to some extent but I think the Emperor at the very beginning did hope that Ruyi would be his "Formal wife".
He just due to political reason to choose Fuchat Empress.
Empress is also very narrow minded and jealous Ruyi. Her daughter is rude,impollte and educated badly to be the Center Palace (中宮） which means the head leading figure to all consorts and concubines.
