I love the evolution of Suoxin and Li Yu’s character. He loved her with everything he had and still let her go be with someone she loved. And instead of being bitter about it, he saw her off to be married, gifted them land, and openly aided Jiang Yubin in the palace when he could.

She tried to Frame Ruyi. Ruyi did nothing to her, yet she turned around and accused her of killing her baby. That was beyond vicious.
@@EnglishVirgo she didn't frame the empress. Other people did, including Aruo presenting false evidence. She believed what other people said at the time because it seemed credible. Then she turned on Auro when she realized it was a lie.
I find it really interesting that despite her initial hatred for Ruyi, to the point she attempted to literally whip ruyi to death in the thralls of her despair for the loss of her child, she is one of the few people to offer genuine thanks to Ruyi when she does something nice for them out of what is the kindness of her heart.
The Emperor didn't want anything major to be done for Mei and had her just cremated behind closed doors. It was Ruyi who offered her and her son a 'resting place' and had the harem hold a ceremony for them to rest peacefully.
@@darirusanferaa7647 she tried to frame Gao , in fact ( because of the slap)...but Mei wasn't very smart , so Ruyi got into trouble 😑. She initially didn't even hate RuYi , until Jia told her that she poisoned Mei ; Mei in a state of PPD and a bit of psychosis , completely went off on RuYi . ( Girl tried to kill herself, so when she didn't succeed, she got herself into all sorts of trouble until she was killed .)
Well Mei wins the award for most epic death. She dresses up, stays calm and doesnt hesitate to drink the poison. Then she sits and plays beautiful music until she no longer can. It is an epic death. However she may have acted in life, she shuffled loose the mortal coil in style.

This is one of the most beautiful peaceful deaths I’ve seen. I truly love Ruyi’s character. No matter how others treat her, she’s always on top because of how she treats people. A rare star amongst darkness. A class act. Even her get backs are classy. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ruyi is the definition of Grace in that palace. Mei has been a chess piece eversince she entered the palace. Always manipulated by the ones around her. Ruyi has good reason to not care about her yet she goes out of her way because she understands what has been done to Mei. She knows that even though Mei had acted out against her with the honest will of harming her, it was only the doing of others. She is giving Mei closure and light where others would curse her and that's why she's the main character

Poor young woman, feeling so dispair for her child's murder was used to kill the Empress. It's unbelievable the way they used to live, had servants, money, silks and satins to wear but they couldn't appreciate it, were calculating and fighting all the time against each other.

一直覺得玫嬪演情感表達的方式比較淺。
看到 8:45 「皇后娘娘，我這樣打扮好看嗎」 才發現她好像有把死前的覺悟給體現出來，就鼻酸了
Remember her child was born deformed but she never got to see her child, hence her asking if she looked pretty as she didn't want to scare her child😓tragic women they all are, there's not enough hells for their sorrows.
若是甄嬛（真的孫儷那個甄嬛）看到為了她跛腳的姑姑過來，一定會親自去扶的，但如懿卻坐著看著惢心跛腳卻坐在那裡⋯
