COLD Start John Deere 6030

It was 4 Celsius outside when we did the cold start of this John Deere 6030. Engine had a rebuild because this one does tractor pulling.

It would help to move the steering wheel left to right several times while you're starting the tractor to unload the hydraulic pump. It make it easier to start.

8 cylinder radial hydraulic pump upon starting should go out of stroke after a few revolutions! Moving the steering wheel back and fourth will cause demand on the pump thus creating head pressure! There is another problem! Needs diagnosis.

Dump about 7 full cans of starting fluid into the intake . That way it will start easier
