    I like the foot! Not your typical style, but a great shape, and I LOVE that grain. I was half expecting the foot to give out in the chuck. I haven't turned much elm so I'm not as familiar with how it holds up to pressure. SURPRISE! The extra decoration before the wax...sweet!

    Nice bowl, Impressed that you did it all just using a bowl gouge ( except the lines of course) Try as I do I still have to use a spindle gouge for finishing.

      I tend to have a 60 degree grind on my bowl gouge, which lets me profile the inside of the bowl much easier.

    The lines did help. It was pretty to start with but they helped.

    Зачем столько саморезов на план шайбе? 4х, вполне, достаточно на такой небольшой заготовке.

      Шурупы были всего 20 мм, а поскольку вяз - очень твердая древесина, я использовал больше, чтобы убедиться. Спасибо
