Thank you for showing your storyboard process.
Great job, friend! You figured this technique on your own.
I definetly did get inspired and learned some stuff.
Thanks ;)
really great work!!!
Thanks Jonathan!
First video I've watched of yours. Thanks for the help. New to digital art and really struggling to transfer over from nothing but pencil and paper previously.
MJ Sibylline Thank you. I keep meaning to make more videos just been lazy. Keep it simple, use one brush and one layer...just like traditional art :)
Does Krita provide a film storyboard type of format?
Exactly what brush and/or pencil tools do you need to work with Krita? Wacom pen or other? Thanks for any advice.
I was to fortunate enough to buy a used Wacom 22HD Cintiq, from the company I work for, which works great. I have friends that use any Wacom Tablet. Years ago I use to have a Huion Drawing Table and it was ok, but sold it. Inside Krita, I download David Revoy's brushes here>>> www.davidrevoy.com/tag/brush Personally, I like to use the 2B Pencil for my rough sketches and Basic-5 Ink brush for inking.
Love your work btw! That's real craftsmanship!!
@@TonyGaddisToons Thank you so much for that info! Much appreciated.
@@TonyGaddisToons It's all in the wrist - or lack of one, if my FX lopped it off, haha.
Wait so can we do Animatics with Krita??
-•*Chloe*•- Heck yeah! Set some keyframes and export it out as an animatic!!
@@TonyGaddisToons Thanks!
@@TonyGaddisToons Another question, Did you draw the rough draft drawings all in the rough layer or?
@@Gardenia_Celine Yes. So, the first time I recorded this video I was trying to get fancy and had all these layers, but that's not usually how I work. So instead of reshooting the vid I just collapsed all my layers and did what was comfortable. I keep meaning to make a new video but have been lazy.
Keep it simple, one layer for rough, one layer for inking, one layer for color/gray scale.
@@TonyGaddisToons Okay thanks!
what brush did you use?
I like to use the pencil brushes. c) Pencil-3 large 4B for the blue rough pass and then c)Pencil-2 to clean it up.
@@TonyGaddisToons thanks!
Your welcome.
