For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I know the feeling! Go in or call a boutique and talk to an SA. They’re super helpful and can look out for you! Also look at Mytheresa they stock them!
Would you say the good hardware is more of a polished subtle or a bright yellow gold?
I would definitely say it’s more subtle! It really tends to the bag well. You can see it but it’s not over powering, it’s very fitting and chic!

Your thoughts on the tan saddle leather option? Has your SA discussed it with you? I wonder if it patinas well like the Hermes Barenia leather? I’m highly considering the Margaux 10/15 since a smooth Barenia birkin remains long on my wishlist..
Hey! I actually was able to see a tan saddle 15 when I first went in to discuss getting this one! It does look like it ages nice and very similar to the Barenia! Scratches definitely showed more than the black but that would be the same with any smooth leather in this color I guess! I’m really loving my Margaux! The 10 was a bit small for me but if it’s more your size I’m sure it would be perfect!

Yes! Just measured for you! The 15 is about 6.5 inches. I know the 17 is just a bit longer and the 12 is bit smaller!

What would you put in there that you would need such a large bag?!
I thought the whole point of US (& LA) car culture was that guys stored what they needed in their cars so they wouldn't have to walk around carrying stuff.
It's my understanding that in places like NY where everyone transits & walks, that's the reason working adults carry backpacks around with them.
I think for myself I would use this bag a lot while traveling. It's a great size for carrying items on a plane or in a car on a roadtrip, while then also allowing you to have a large enough bag for a full day out in another city. I just took this bag with me to London and it really helped ease carrying out layers like gloves, knit hats, my small cameras, portable charger, and small random things like chapstick, hand lotion, and gum. Having the option to carry a lot or a little really came in handy with this bag.
