This is a really great and objective review of this bag. I really appreciate the fact that you have stated that without social media this bag would not be on anyone’s radar. It is really just a basic bag, and while it is super beautiful and functional in design, there’s no way this bag should be worth $4,000 to $5000. I will wait for the contemporary marketplace to make a comparable design to this at an affordable price. Social media has made it acceptable for luxury brands to charge these exorbitant rates which we normally would not entertain.
Thanks for watching. Not just The Row, many brands out there could charge a high price not just because of craftsmanship but also the perceived brand value which is often created by marketing effort and celebrity endorsement. Good luck finding your next bag!
Thank so much for the review! I listened to all the videos I could find and yours is my favorite! I just received the Margaux 15 in the color Silk- it pop up one day on the Row website and I just ordered it! It's a little darker than the Dark Taupe color but it's perfect because I wanted a spring/ summer bag but this one I can use all year round!! My obsession is worse- I need a black one too!! I wish they would do Soft Margaux with gold hardware- if it happens I will have to get it!

I love my black 15 so much that I bought the silk in 12 too :-) You should definitely get a black one, it’s a Row classic color. For gold hardware, I think some of the smooth leather ones are in gold hardware, just not the grainy leather ones as it seems.
I would buy it if I could find it!! It's like sold out everywhere 😢... I love the softness and slouchiness to this bag. The 15 would def fit my laptop too so am looking for the same, or in black smooth calfskin leather. ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I thunk its over-hyped. Its not unique- own a very similar coach bag in glovetanned leather whihh looks far nicer imo. Its 10 years old!
The bolide is so ugly i am sorry i can see why the margaux is so popular, its really nice
