    I tip my hat to ya my friend, that's well thought out and great functionality!!! I was planning on doing something similar before I lost mine in a fire, just because I thought it'd be cool, but I am going to have to borrow this form you!!! You need to get a patent on that setup, I have never seen a setup like that, I mean it's completely different, which s brand new design!!! Bravo Bravo 👍👍👊🎤⬇️❗❗❗

      @Track13News  Před 5 lety +1

      Thanks bro, I haven’t seen it before either, but what I know about patents are it is not the getting its the defending that costs the big $$$$

      @@Track13News well it sounded good, but I did do a dual shock setup once before. I removed my sway bars, which I am not a fan of how it handles with them anyway. I picked up 4 Helion something 1/10 something shocks, mounted in the sway bar holes on each side, then to the upper shock tower holes, and it worked good, but I wanted to either to something like you have, or cut the sway bar mount holes out large enough to install another full size shock, or possibly even a large Losi Shock. Have you weighed it? I'm curious about the total weight, batteries and all

    • @Track13News
      @Track13News  Před 5 lety

      No haven’t weighed it yet, but ESC is about 600 grams, and each battery is about 650 grams, but I do have some CEN 25 MM shocks if needed

    You should take it out and run it. If your rc truck is that spotless and clean, with no scratches anywhere, you’re doing it wrong.

      I don’t know, what are valved pistons?

    • @jeremybreeden4228
      @jeremybreeden4228 Před rokem

      No not as good as this. Valved pistons for rc's are just got looks and the game changer pistons for the shocks themselves do help but not the big of a difference.

  • @ELValenin
    @ELValenin Před 5 lety

    Wow!!! Did it help with the jumps??

    • @Track13News
      @Track13News  Před 5 lety +1

      It’s a heavy beast, so it does help with high impact jumps, and keeps body roll to a minimum, so it can run high speed over rough terrain well, the downside is that on grippy surfaces can traction roll a little easier, probably a tuning item, and differential oil a little thick.

    • @ELValenin
      @ELValenin Před 5 lety +1

      @@Track13News did you have any problems with the shocks / shock ends ripping or shock tower bending because of these? Does the car still fully compress from high landings?

    • @Track13News
      @Track13News  Před 5 lety +1

      The only problem is sometimes a shock will get reversed with the extender lever and get stuck, due to a little too much droop. I bent the front shock tower and snap a shock end after I took a header to 15 cartwheel wreck. Overall great system, still working on best tuning.

  • @CommanderAstigRC
    @CommanderAstigRC Před 5 lety

    This so unnecessary.. IMHO. Too stiff! Little chassis slap is necessary on moderate to higher jumps to unload the weight off the shocks. 70wt shocks oil + Tekno orange spring close to perfect dampening. Done! ( Check out my Kraton high jumps bash. See what I'm talking about)
