Story Time!
Ever since Pacific Rim was released, I've been listening to the soundtrack almost every chance I get. I just love almost all the tracks, especially the "Main Theme". After a while, I started to realize that the main theme, in a sense, almost matched events in the movie, like, they fit together. After some time of trying to match up the timing of the visuals to the audio, I believe I have something presentable for fellow Pacific Rim fans. Hopefully you guys like the final product. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

Amen, my friend! You could say I'm addicted to it. XD I'm actually working on another version of this music video, as there's different scenes/editing choices I want to do, but I intend to do it as a "V2" and since surprisingly a lot of people like this, I'm going to keep it up.

The year the movie came out on DVD, I worked with a guy who said he'd watched it over 120 times.
You're not alone my friend. I absouletly adore this movie and this one of the most coolest and awesome movie I have ever seen since The Jurassic Movies. I mean it's a movie about giant robots fighting against giant monsters with beautiful and gorgeous CGI and it made this movie so special to me. This movie is so cool that another famous CZcamsr brought him to tears watching it. That guy name is Jobby aka JobbyTheHong Toy Reviews. He is a huge Pacific Rim fan.

I used to think Cherno Alpha was for Chernobyl, but Del Toro said it's for Chernobog. The Slavic demon most famous in America for the "Night on Bald Mountain" portion of Disney's "Fantasia."
loved how the first movie was more into realistic movement and has a dark athmosphere, unlike the second one thats like power rangers.
Amen to that. I wouldn't even have minded the Power Rangers aspect if they had more well thoughtout fight scenes that were fun to watch. Sort of like an, "okay, if this is your hill to die on, show us what you can do". Pacific Rim had a couple different fights over the course of the film, and they varied from short to long, all a treat to watch, while Uprising only had like, maybe 3, 2 and a half, and they were... okay... but severely lacking compared to the first movie. They insisted on faster moving Jaegers, okay, fine, but how about they do something while moving faster besides getting thrown around like skyscraper sized ragdolls? It's like saying they want to make an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, except he gets his ass kicked 99% of the time. Ugh, I have a love/hate relationship with Uprising... maybe I should make a video on it at this point. xD

@@BizarreGaming. the action scene destroyed physics! You see the jaegers fighting without using weight and its too impossible to see giant robot machines performing acrobatic moves with their weight

I always noticed that. Striker moved much too fast for such a big machine. But being where they are, Australia must've been under constant attack along with Japan and the Philippines. They needed to make a better fighting machine than almost any other nation had.

@Siddharth Dighe Thanks. Yeah I did try to match the scenes to the music, but watching it again, my timing was off here and there, and the transition effects definitely aren't the best. I do intend on redoing this, but considering how much attention this video has caught over time, I wouldn't dare delete this.
@@Jman92854 Everything has flaws. That's what makes things more realistic and appreciated ^^
It's a flaw that the Jaegers can be so slow, in more ways than one, at times but it's not a snug-fitted Iron Man suit, it's a very big, heavy piece of metal that takes a lot to maneuver. Even something as easy as WALKING is a strenuous task (just ask the actors) so it _can't_ be super-fast and will have a few misses here and there, like when Otachi dodged Gipsys right hook and it went through an office building, setting off a Newton Cradle and that's realistic even without a giant Jaeger to control.
Masterpieces are meant to have flaws, to be imperfect. That's what makes them believable and ultimately perfect 👌

I completely agree. They were my two favorite Jaeger designs, and needed more time.
Del Toro said that was meant to happen. His logic was China and Russia had been fighting longer than America, so they were the best along with Australia. Wiping them all out so fast meant the end was near. The Kaiju were being bred faster and stronger with more abilities like the EMP that took out Striker Eureka.

Exactly! They've been training to fight Kaiju for decades, but act surprised when a Kaiju actually shows up. Seems the training wasn't absorbed.
Gipsy Danger learns Otachi has acid spit, so what do they do? Reach in and rip that organ out and freezes/shatters the claw tail.
Gipsy Avenger: Learns Raijin has armor plates that absorb the kinetic energy and can send it right back, what do they do? Drop buildings on it, instead of trying to, I dunno, peel the plates off, pull the plates back to target the head inside the plates? They're a futuristic military with zero attempt to form a legit, coherent strategy.

Like I didn't liked the 2nd part that much specially because of how they made gypsy avenger act like in that, I mean gypsy danger was actually fighting but avenger was just trying to be safe and sound I guess. At least it looked like that to me. But whatever, gypsy danger and the first movie is always at the top for me

I live the first movie the second one... Sigh they were taken out way to fast like there was bare any actual fighting the jeagers just got their asses handed to them and got torn apart with one hot atleast the first movie actually let them get hit and was able to come back for more not just one and done.
Yeah, same here. I didn't mind the streamlined design of the Uprising Jaegers. They were different enough that you could tell who was who, fine, but then they barely put up a fight, and they certainly didn't come across like they were cadets training to pilot giant robots, it came across more like the Power Rangers the first time they use their Zords, or the Mega Zord, and even then, it was done better in the 2017 Power Rangers movie, at least in my opinion. At least they were strategizing their attacks.

Ok here me out here the Pokemon fan say that the legendary Pokémon and all other Pokémon would Easily rip apart both kaiju and jagaers in pacific rim. but how would that happen jagaers tower over any legendary Pokémon or any Pokémon for that mater .and so to do the kaiju .I mean shore the legendary Pokemon have elemental attacks but what good would that do against a giant monster or jagaers that’s built to kill side giant monsters. I mean I get where there coming from but it makes no logical sense . In fact Pokémon would probably just get stormed and then become extinct. What do you guys and gals and gender neutral think please help

The masterpiece .but second movie is a trash
To this day I'm very back and forth about Uprising. Yes, it is inferior to this movie in a lot of ways... but it had some good parts, and overall I didn't hate it but... it was a wasted opportunity for a sequel. They needed Del Toro to come back, and they needed Ramin Djawadi to come back. The score in Uprising is garbage and doesn't have the same weight this score does.
