Here, I rode my third member of the Embraer E-Jet family, taking an E190 to connect in Boston en route to the TWA Hotel at JFK. Launched altogether by JetBlue in 2005, the type is being retired in favor of the Airbus A220-300 (Bombardier CSeries CS300), due to its improved economics. I rode the exact same aircraft, down to the tail number, on my return flights to DC.
